*Lilly Lashes Barely Flare Individuals Review

*I received this product for free but the opinions are my own.

I recently tried out the Lilly Lashes Barely Flare Individuals*. I will admit that I have never been very good at applying fake lashes, although I have tried as I have very short, straight lashes. Unfortunately, I have also been blessed with heavily hooded eyes, which makes applying lashes even more difficult. For some reason I thought that individual lashes would be much harder to apply than strip lashes, so I was interested to give these lashes a go.
These lashes are natural looking, double layered, knot-free faux mink tapered lashes. They are cruelty-free and vegan friendly. Each box contains 32 flares, 16 10mm flares and 16 12mm flares. I actually found these individual lashes much easier to apply than one full strip as you have more control and you don't have to worry about getting the strip of lashes in the correct place before the glue dries.  I applied 3 individual flares to the outer half of my eyes which enhanced the shape and gave my eyes a lift at the outer corners. This suits my hooded eyes as lashes tend to get lost the closer to the inside of my lash line that I apply them. The overall look was natural, but noticeable. I applied mascara to the inner eyelashes to blend them with the outer lashes. The lashes were easy to apply with tweezers and even if I made an error with the placement or applied too much glue it was easy to remove them and try again. I definitely think that I will be using these individual lashes going forward.

I actually tested them out whilst horse riding the first time I used them and they stood up well. They stayed in place perfectly and didn't feel heavy on my lids. The lashes don't come with any glue, but I don't mind that as I have lots of eyelash glue left over from other lashes that I have tried in the past, so I just used glue I already have to apply the lashes. The Lilly Lashes Barely Flare Individuals cost £12 and you can purchase them from www.falseeyelashes.co.uk or Look Fantastic.
