Candles Sniffs & Gifts Candle Warmer and Aldi Candles

Image
I used to collect candles when I was younger, but I never burned any of them because I was so scared of burning the house down, so eventually I got rid of all my candles and moved on.  Recently, I have become obsessed with candles again, probably after finding a Facebook page called Bath and Body Works Fans UK .   Everyone on this page raves about B&BW candles, so my interest in candles started to pique again.  I was still concerned about accidental fires, but then people on this page mentioned candle warmers and how they wouldn't go back to burning candles after using a candle warmer, so I though I would give one a try. There were lots of recommendations for Candles Sniffs & Gifts , so I ordered one from there.  I bought the Silver Electric Candle Warmer Lantern Lamp for £22.99 plus £3.99 shipping.  Candle Warmers allow you to use candles without having to light the wick.  The candle warmer comes with a 35 watt halogen bulb and you simply plug it in and put the candl

Halloween Special - Baileys Pumpkin Spice Limited Edition Flavour

Image
Is it just me or is Halloween becoming a really big thing over in the UK these days?  Don't get me wrong, back in the day I used to dress up and go trick or treating, but our costumes were handmade.  Now all you need to do is walk into the nearest supermarket or Primark and you can buy a ready made costume and loads of Halloween goodies.  We are almost as crazy about Halloween as our American cousins and I love it.   I'm pretty sure that you didn't used to be able to buy pumpkins in supermarkets, ready for the big day (I don't even know what pumpkins taste like).  In fact I might be showing my age here, but we used to carve out turnips when we were kids as that's the only thing we could buy.  I love the fact that people now decorate the outside of their houses for Halloween.  It's like a signal to the trick or treaters that you have candy waiting for them. The reason for my post is that I recently came across Baileys Pumpkin Spice Limited Edition Flavou

Sephora Favorites Give Me More Lip & Soko to Tokyo

Image
One of my favourite things to do when I visit America is go to the nearest Sephora store and shop my heart out.  Why oh why do we not have Sephora in the UK?  I know we can order online for delivery to the UK, but up till now I have avoided placing an order, due to the crappy exchange rate and also the added pain of customs and delivery charges.  I was finally tempted to place an order when they recently came out with some great value Sephora Favorites box sets. I decided to order Sephora Favorites Give Me More Lip & Soko to Tokyo.  I chose these two sets as they were great value and there were lots of products that I wanted to try out in each set.  The total cost including customs charges and delivery was £111.41 (products - £54.31 & £31.94/customs charge - £19.16/delivery - £6). The Sephora Favorites Give Me More Lip box set costs $68 (£54.31)  and is valued at $254 (approx. £202).  It contains 15 lip products of which 5 are full size.  The set contains: - 0

Love Me Beauty October 2017

Image
I decided to quit beauty boxes at the start of summer as I just had too many products stashed away and not enough time to use them and receiving 15+ new products every month in various beauty boxes was just too much.  Recently I have been tempted to re-subscribe to Love Me Beauty as they have had some great products to choose from and the value has been amazing.  This is what I chose to receive in the October Box. - Perricone MD High Potency Amine Face Lift - This is the full size 59ml product and is worth £80.  This was the highest value item that was available and is something that I am really excited to try out.  This item cost 50 points which I will explain later on in the post. bareMinerals Skinlongevity Vital Power Infusion 7.5ml.  This cost 10 points and is worth approximately £7.20. Kat Von D Saint & Sinner EDP 4.5ml each - These are mini sprays and cost 10 points each.  These are worth approximately £8.10 (if you go by the cost of the 10ml spray) or £4.68 e

Empties October 2017

Wow it's been a while since I last posted.  I just started a new job a couple of weeks ago, so I've been settling into my new role and got a bit behind on my posts.  Here's a review of my empties from the last couple of months. Pacifica Hawaiian Ruby Guava Body Butter - I picked this up in Florida and it's got such a wonderful fruity scent.  It's quite a thick cream that is really moisturising.  You can buy Pacifica products in the UK at Naturisimo . Bath & Body Works Watermelon Lemonade Ultra Shea Body Cream - I bought this is Florida as well.  Watermelon Lemonade is my all time favourite B&BW fragrance.  It's another lovely fruity fragrance. I really wish that they would come to the UK, but if you want to buy B&BW products in the UK then I highly recommend the Facebook Group Bath & Body Works Fans UK . Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel - This is my absolute favourite Lush product and I always stock up in the Boxing Day Sales. My Trus
