Beauty, Bargains and Beyond

I love me some Tom Ford fragrances and I have quite the collection, but if you are like me then you know how expensive these puppies are (the 10ml Atomisers are £75 alone). Its an expensive collection. I have been eyeing up Tom Ford's Lost Cherry for quite some time, but I have such a huge collection of perfumes in general that I cannot justify such an expensive purchase right now, so when I tried Zara's Cherry Smoothie, I thought it was a great option for the price. Tom Ford's Lost Cherry is heavy on the dark cherry and almond which I love. Zara's version is definitely lighter and fresher and less in your face with the cherry, but the cherry notes still shine through in addition to almond which is the same as Lost Cherry. Tonka beans and black vanilla add a smoothness to this fragrance and it has pretty decent lasting power. Cherry Smoothie comes in a nice presentation box with a velvet ribbon on it so it makes for a perfect gift and at £17.99 for a 100ml Eau De Parfum...

I love the sales. It feels so good being able to buy from shops you love and get things you have had your eye on and not pay full price.  The sales started a couple of weeks ago so I couldn't resist having a look in Zara as I love their stuff and I like to see what I can pick up in the sales.  Here's my latest haul: These cost £19.99 from £29.99.  I love flats as I'm quite tall so I don't tend to wear heels very often. I love shoulder bags and this one was £19.99 (now £12.99) reduced from £39.99.  This white TShirt was £7.99 reduced from £17.99.  Its a bit crumpled as I dumped the bag in the corner of my room before taking the picture. I am one of those crazy people that head out early on Boxing Day to hit the sales, although I am not crazy enough to queue out for hours before the shops open.  I got there about 7.30am after some stores had already opened. There were some great bargains to be had and I managed to get most of the items that I couldn't get during the online sales.  Here's what I bought: Perfumes & Victoria's Secret Gift Sets Everything I bought in the photo below was half price.  The Victoria's Secret gift boxes were £9 and £13.  Marc Jacobs Dot EDP 50ml was £26.50 from Debenhams and La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Parfum 30ml was £17.64 (I used Boots Advantage card points for this) and Eau de Toilette 30ml was £15.09. Lush I did have to queue for about half an hour outside Lush, but it was worth it to get these babies (I am sharing these with my sister as we bought quite a lot). I was having a browse around Zara at the weekend and I could have spent a fortune of shoes in there.  I haven't been in Zara for quite some time, but I was really impressed with their clothes, but even more taken with their shoes.  Heres a run down of the ones that are now on my wish list.   POINTED VAMP SHOE WITH HEEL BACK - £19.99 SHINY POINTED BALLERINA  - £59.99 (midnight blue) SHINY POINTY BALLERINA - £59.99 (nude) - these ones were my absolute favourites.
