*The Hair Boss - The Detox Foam and The Blonde Brightener

Image
*I received these products for free but the opinions are my own. I was kindly sent a couple of products from The Hair Boss to review.  I'm a big fan of this range so I couldn't wait to try them out. The Hair Boss Detox Foam* helps to remove build-up from pollution, chemicals and also other products you use on your hair.  It leaves hair fresh, voluminous and clean.  When I'm on holiday I love to swim and also having frizzy curly hair myself and applying lots of different products to try and control my curls, this is the perfect product for me.  I do find that my hair does get dull and heavy after a while and as I don't like to wash my hair every day, this is a product I couldn't wait to try out.    All you need to do is pump the product onto wet or dry hair and massage through to ensure even coverage.  Leave on for up to 10 minutes and then rinse.  Follow with your usual shampoo routine.  Couldn't be simpler.   A tip from Lisa Shepherd, the Hair Boss herself

*Dragonfly CBD Hydrating Daily Face Cream & Body Moisturiser

Image
*I received these products for free but the opinions are my own. I love trying out products from new to me brands, so I was excited to test the CBD Hydrating Daily Face Cream* & Body Moisturiser* from Dragonfly. The Hydrating Daily Face Cream*  contains Dragonflys award winning CBD Oil infused with Argan Oil. Its organic, Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, Vegan and Paraben & Sulphate Free. Its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-sebum. Its a rich cream that sinks quickly into the skin and provides an instant shot of hydration.  I sometimes suffer from sensitive, eczema prone skin and this fragrance free cream did not make my skin react in any way. It felt quite soothing and my skin looked and felt great after using this cream. Its infused with 300mg of high-quality Cannabidoil (CBD) which is organically grown and is THC-Free. It costs £40 for 75ml (although it is on offer right now). The Hydrating Body Moisturiser*  contains the same amount of Cannabidoil and is infused with cocon

Hello Sunday One For Your Lips SPF50 Lip Balm

Image
I love trying out new brands and I recently purchased a couple of products from one such brand (you can read about the other product here). Hello Sunday is a brand that specialises in SPF products and is the brainchild of a group of creative specialists and beauty formulation specialists who wanted to create featherlight formulas that really work. You can read more about the brand here . One of the first products that I chose to buy was Hello Sunday One For Your Lips SPF50 Lip Balm. It costs £5 for 15ml which is very reasonably priced and its a fragrance free,  transparent balm with shea butter, hyaluronic acid  and vitamin e that keeps your lips protected and nourished. I have particularly dry lips that constantly peel and crack so I use a lot of lip balm and I really enjoyed using this one as it kept my lips thoroughly hydrated and soft and smooth whilst reassuringly providing sun protection at the same time. You can buy Hello Sunday from places like Space NK, Cult Beauty and Boots

*ARRAN Sense of Scotland Kildonan Orris & Violet Leaf Bath & Shower Gel

Image
*I received this product for free but the opinions are my own. Arran Sense of Scotland (previously known as Arran Aromatics) has released their first new scent in 10 years. Kildonan Orris & Violet Leaf was inspired by the village of Kildonan which sits on the south coast of the Isle of Arran. I tried the bath and shower gel and it has a wonderfully smooth, lightly floral scent with a hint of a  summer coastal breeze.   As well as violet it contains notes of Pea, Lily of the Valley, Cedar, Orris, Ambrette & Cashmirwood. It also contains pro-vitamin B5.   It foams very nicely and left my skin feeling clean, soft and smooth. It was also hydrating enough that I didn't feel the need to moisturise after my shower.  The * Kildonan Bath & Shower Gel  costs £16 for 300ml and the Kildonan range also includes hand cream, hand wash and soap.  It's a great set that would look fabulous on my bathroom shelf, I love the colour of the bottle it comes in as well.  Its also a 100

Hello Sunday The Take-Out One Sunstick & Supergoop! Glow Stick - SPF On the go

Image
We have had a glorious summer this year (well some of the time anyway), so reapplying SPF throughout the day has never been more important, so I wanted to let you know about my favourite SPF products that are easy to carry around with you.  The first one is a new brand to me - Hello Sunday The Take-Out One SPF Invisible Sun Stick. This is basically the same as a stick deodorant that you twist up to use the product. The product looks purple, but it applies clear and its not thick and greasy, so it doesn't feel heavy on the skin and it does give you a little glow, but you don't end up looking like an oily mess.  This is such an easy product to apply on the go and I like the fact that you can just apply it directly to your face and then just rub it in to make sure everything is covered. It costs £15 for 30g from Space NK, Cult Beauty & Boots. Its water and sweat resistant and is a broad spectrum formula with SPF30 to protect against UVA/UVB. It also contains hyaluronic acid &

*Newton’s Lab Make Your Own Painting Pendulum & Make Your Own Hydraulic Claw

Image
*I received these products for free but the opinions are my own. I was recently sent some sets to review that help children learn as they play and I must admit that they keep adults entertained as much as the kids. If you have an interest in science and art then read on. Newton’s Lab Make Your Own Painting Pendulum* lets you learn about the forces of gravity while making your own pieces of art. It is made with die-cut cardboard, pieces of string, tempera paint and a syringe. You build it yourself using the instructions on the back on the box and then watch it create your piece of art. I must admit my eye sight isn't the best and I did struggle a bit with the instructions in certain light. I would have preferred a set of black and white instructions in the box to make it a little bit easier. It is fun though to see what it creates and allows your child to learn as they play. It costs £13.50 and is available from Kikkerlandeu.com . Newton’s Lab Make Your Own Hydraulic Claw* h

*The Humble Co - Dental Floss and Cotton Swabs

Image
*I received these products for free but the opinions are my own. I don't know about you but one of the first things that my dentist asks me when I visit them is if I floss, so its something I try to do in my daily routine (most of the time anyway). The Humble Co Dental Floss* comes in a variety of flavours - Mint, lemon and cinnamon and even has a charcoal version as well. It can be purchased from Holland and Barrett for £2.99 or from The Humble Co for  € 3.99. It is eco-friendly and socially responsible as it has eliminated the need for a plastic case as the packaging it comes in becomes the floss dispenser which is great. It is 50 metres long so lasts a decent amount of time.  There is as many as 700 million plastic floss containers discarded each year so any change in our habits, however small, can start making a difference if we all do it. I also tried out the Bamboo Cotton Swabs* which are made from 100% sustainably grown bamboo with naturally coloured cotton .   The

*Products for Your Dog - Toy, Light and Poop Bag Carrier

Image
*I received these products for free but the opinions are my own. I am very much an animal person and have an animal loving family, cats, dogs and horses we have them all. I was kindly sent these super cute dog products to review so tried them out when I went to visit my sister and we walked her dog. Kobe Doggy Fake News Toy* is a toy for dogs of any size which can be used for tug-of-war, fetch, and chewing fun. It can even keep the owner occupied as it has fake dog headlines on the toy for them to read. My sisters dog is a Staffie and this toy held up well with some rough play as it is made from sturdy material and kept her occupied with the 2 squeaky noise makers inside which she loved. This toy can be purchased here for £12.49. The Kobe Dog Light* is an LED light with carabiner. I love that it has the carabiner so its easy to attach it to something convenient such as your lead or poop bag dispenser. It helps light the way when you walk your dog late in the evening when its dark and
