Bra Fitting at Bravissimo

Image
I am a 30plus blogger so I really don't know why I have put off having a bra fitting for so long.  I have suffered many a badly fitting bra in the past so I finally popped into Bravissimo which  is a shop that specialises in underwear in D cup and above. I didn't book an appointment, so had to wait about 5 minutes before a bra fitter was available.  I had picked a style of bra that I liked and also a sports bra to take in to the fitting with me. The bra fitter came into the changing room with me and told me that they didn't use a tape measure, so she checked the fit of the bra that I was wearing (which fit really well according to her which was great as I had purposely chosen one of my better fitting bras).  First of all she went to find out if they had the styles that I had already picked in my size (the same size as the bra that I was wearing).  When she came back she advised that they didn't have my size in the bra that I had picked, so she brought a si...

The Original WACKY Sox

Image
I thought I would write a quick post on some wacky sox I couldn't resist buying recently.  I was just browsing around some shops at an event I attended recently and the bright colours caught my eye like a magpie.  I really liked the look of them and they will go well under my Hunter boots this winter.  I couldn't decide on just one pair, so in the end I bought 3. They were £10 each or 3 for £25 (it would be rude not to buy 3 with that offer surely). L-R Milky Way, Purple Smoothie & Dark Desires You can find their website  here .  I can't find the offer online where you can pick 3 of any style for £25 but there are some special offers on the site that are worth looking at if you fancy more than one pair.  They generally seem to range in price from £7.99 - £9.99 depending on size.  Sadly I have big feet so have to pay top whack.  If you are really creative you can even design your own socks, although I think there is a minimum order for...

Zara Sale Haul

Image
I love the sales. It feels so good being able to buy from shops you love and get things you have had your eye on and not pay full price.  The sales started a couple of weeks ago so I couldn't resist having a look in Zara as I love their stuff and I like to see what I can pick up in the sales.  Here's my latest haul: These cost £19.99 from £29.99.  I love flats as I'm quite tall so I don't tend to wear heels very often. I love shoulder bags and this one was £19.99 (now £12.99) reduced from £39.99.  This white TShirt was £7.99 reduced from £17.99.  Its a bit crumpled as I dumped the bag in the corner of my room before taking the picture. Have you bought anything in the sales recently? Leighlee I bought these with my own money

Yet Another Primark Haul

Image
I really do find it hard to browse around Primark without buying anything. They have some really nice items and I can never say no at Primark prices. Admittedly the clothes aren't always the best quality, but with a little bit of care you can come out with some really nice things.  I particularly like the shoes, as they are just as good as some more expensive shops and hey if they don't last quite as long then that's ok with me as I get bored quite easily.   I bought the same shoes in 3 different colours as I love the crossover strap. The cream and black shoes were £6 and the pink shoes were £3.  The shoes all fit perfectly and are really comfy.  What more can you ask for.  They are just perfect for summer. I also loved these cute navy blue patent flats.  Shame they did not have them in other colours as they were only £6. I also bought a couple of small hair donuts and a nail corrector pen for £1 each. These black and burgundy retro j...

Primark Haul

Image
Here's my most recent Primark haul.  It's always so easy to pop into Primark and come out with a big bag of items. The Primark store in Trinity Leeds is really spacious and everything is set out nicely, so it's always good to have a browse in.  Here's my latest haul: I bought 2 pairs of shoes with crossover straps in black and tan which will be perfect for work.  They were £12 each. I also purchased a pair of casual black flats that will look great with a skirt. They cost £3. I bought 5 pairs of plimsolls in different colours for £3 each.   I also bought a couple of pairs of black flats for work. They also cost £3.   I picked up some colourful summer t-shirts for £4 each (they are very similar to a t- shirt that I bought in New Look for £8 and also similar to a t-shirt that was available in Topshop for about £16.  The material is a little thinner but that's really the only difference. I bought a striped...

Toms Haul

Image
You know when you find that Holy Grail product, it doesn't happen often but when you find it you can't believe you lived without it?  Well Toms are my Holy Grail footwear. They fit perfectly and I just want to buy all of them. Usually when I buy new footwear I know that when I first wear them they are going to rub away the skin on my heel and I am going to avoid wearing them for ages until I absolutely have to.  I don't know if its the shape of my feet or what but I can't get shoes that just fit perfectly.  Until Toms that is, I love them.  I have in the past bought them in the Office sale and the options were limited but when I went to the Glamour Evening at Trinity Leeds they had 20% off most of the footwear in the shop including Toms .  So I did what any self respecting shopaholic would do and bought 3 pairs (hangs head in shame). At least on the plus side they do give a pair of shoes to a child in need for each pair bought.   Anyway I thought I wou...

Primark Haul

Image
I seem to have bought quite a few things from Primark over the last few months so I thought I would do a haul post. I like Primark as you can get some nice stuff fairly cheaply so it doesn't have to last too long and you don't get bored with it. I don't go in very often but when I do I always seem to get tempted to buy a decent amount and then I'm shocked when its totalled at the till as you seem to get so much for your money and that's even with prices increasing as I don't think it's as cheap as it used to be. This haul includes visits to the Leeds, London and Manchester stores. Home Room Diffuser Vanilla & Coconut Creme - £3 Gloves - £8 Green Jumper - £10 (I also bought this jumper in black and red). Red Bucket Bag - £8 Beige Bucket Bag - £8 Coat with faux leather sleeves - £25.  I spotted this in the Manchester store first and decided to be good and not buy it but then I kept thinking about it and regretted not buying it bu...
