Beauty, Bargains and Beyond

When I heard that Aldi were selling products that are dupes for Bath & Body Works (B&BW) I raced down there to see what I could find. On the first occasion that I visited, I couldn't find anything that resembled B&BW, so left empty handed, but since I live within walking distance of Aldi (although I rarely actually shop there) I visited again and managed to find the products that I was looking for. I picked up Foaming Hand Wash (250ml) and Shower Gel (400ml) in the scents Winter Candy Apple, Winter Cookies & Ginger Bread Latte for £1.99 each and I also bought the Winter Candy Apple Hand Cream (100ml) for £1.79. The packaging does resemble B&BW a little bit, but most importantly how do they smell? I thought I would post about some of my favourite things that I'm using at the moment.  I have been a really big fan of Bath & Body Works for quite a number of years since I started visiting America in my twenties.  One of the first shops (after Sephora of course) that I got addicted to was Bath & Body Works.   I love the range of products that they have and the number of different fragrances.  I always seem to have stuck to one main fragrance over the years and initially that was Japanese Cherry Blossom which I loved but I'm a fickle person when it comes to beauty and when I first caught a whiff of Watermelon Lemonade that was it, I was hooked.  It's my absolute favourite scent from B&BW and I can't get enough of the range.  It is a summer fragrance so the whole range is in stock online at the moment here . I just returned home from a great holiday in Orlando and I wanted to share with you my Bath & Body Works haul.  B&BW is a must for me whenever I am in America as I love their products.  I took advantage of their great online offers (using a parcel delivery service called Fairytale Shopper which I heartily recommend if you are visiting Orlando) which made for some great deals.  Here's what I bought. I have wanted to try B&BW candles for ages, so I picked up a couple when they were $12.95 (instead of the usual $24.50).  I picked up my favourite all time scent Watermelon Lemonade (fragrance notes watermelon ice, sparkling water & meyer lemon) which is the perfect summer scent and Suntan (fragrance notes orange blossoms, bright citrus & soft coconut husk) which is just the perfect summer holiday scent.  I haven't had a chance to use them yet (with a candle warmer, I don't light candles). I did some major shopping on my recent holiday to Florida.  I'll be posting my hauls over the next few weeks.  Heres my first one, which is Bath & Body Works and Victoria's Secret.   The fragrance mists were $6 instead of the usual $14 online. The body lotions were $6 each online (usually $13, the blue one in the middle was usually $15), although I did get 2 of these free (see the info with the pocketbacs). I always stock up on the pocketbacs as they are 5 for $6 or $1.75 each.  I bought 10 for $12 and used a voucher to get a free body cream worth $13.  I did this twice to maximise the offer. I bought the Aromatherapy Sleep Body Wash for $6 online (usually $13).  The foaming hand soaps were only $3.50 each so I picked up 3 of those as they are usually $6.50. It feels like such along time ago since I returned from LA and I still haven't managed to post any of my hauls yet so I thought I would start with one of my favourite stores over there Bath & Body Works.  They always have some great deals on so I did buy alot but it is such a great store I just can't resist. I bought 2  Room Sprays  - Caramel Pumpkin Swirl and Pumpkin Pecan Waffles. Yes I did go to LA close to Halloween so alot of the items I bought did have the Halloween theme.  These were $7.50 each or 2 for $11. Hand Sanitiser  - Japanese Cherry Blossom. This is my favourite scent from Bath & Body Works. $5. Wallflowers Home Fragrance Plug and Napa Valley Sunset Fragrance . Ive never tried this before so I'm looking forward to using it. $4.50 for the plug and $6.50 for the fragrance. When I'm in America, after Sephora, Bath & Body Works is one of my favourite shops. On my last visit I swear I wasn't going to buy anything as I have loads of body sprays but when I went in to browse (honest) I just couldn't resist picking up a few sprays as I love them. Signature Collection Travel Size Fine Fragrance Mist Japanese Cherry Blossom - 88ml This is what its says on their website.
