I recently picked up my birthday gift from Space NK and I just wanted to share it with you.  Space NK is one of my favourite beauty stores and I can't resist browsing their website and stores.  I am a member of their loyalty programme NDULGE which has a number of perks, one of which is a free birthday gift.  The gift this year included 4 deluxe size samples and is a great little freebie.   The gift included: Darphin Intral Daily Rescue Serum - 5ml KIEHL'S Retinol Skin-Renewing Daily Micro-Dose Serum - 4ml Malin+Goetz Peppermint Shampoo & Cilantro Hair Conditioner - 10ml each As a member of NDULGE you also receive points for your purchases which is currently 1 point for every £1 spent. My First Glossier Haul

Image
What can I say, I couldn't help jumping on the bandwagon when a brand I had heard so many good things about started selling in the UK.  I thought the Glossier website  would be chaos on the first morning, so I didn't order until the next day. I must admit I expected there to be problems with either products being out of stock, the system going slow or the dreaded error message just as you get to the end of the payment page, but none of that happened.  It was a great experience from start to finish.  I hadn't looked into what Glossier products I was going to buy before going to the website, I browsed around and chucked things in my basket (metaphorically speaking).  I got a bit too excited and had to reduce it somewhat when I came to checkout, as I had a few too many products in the basket.  Here's what I bought: I ended up buying 1 of the box sets as I wanted to try out the products, so it made sense to buy the set and save some...

Primark Beauty Haul

Image
I picked up a few beauty products in Primark recently that I wanted to show you.  I only spent £8.50, but I am really happy with what I bought. The PS Primer Water was £2 for 150ml and it preps skin for make-up application.  It's silicon free, alcohol free and oil free. The Holler and Glow Nail Polish in the shade Mermaid Tails is a pretty top coat that adds a splash of sparkle to any nail polish in a very subtle pretty manner (no photo swatches as it doesn't show up very well on camera).  This cost £2. I had to buy the PS Pointed Unicorn Bae Nails as they are so cute and colourful and who doesn't love unicorns.  These were £2. Finally, I bought the PS......XXL Plump Intense Colour Lip Plumping Gloss in Whatever.  This is a pretty pink colour, although I am not sure that it does plump up my lips.  Love the colour though.  This was £2.50. Leigh I bought these products with my own money

NYX Cosmetics Haul

Image
Thankfully NYX Cosmetics are now available in my local Boots branch in Leeds, but it was not as easily available prior to my Holiday in May, so I was happy to pick up some NYX Cosmetic products on my recent trip to Orlando.  I visited an Ulta Beauty store and here's what I bought. NYX Lip Primer in Nude ($6.99) - This is a clear balm in pencil form that is very easy to use and primes your lips prior to applying lip products.  I use it before liquid lipsticks as I have quite dry lips and it works really well, to keep the product from drying out my lips and stopping it from looking patchy. NYX Eye Shadow Base in Skin Tone ($6.99) - This is a creamy concealer like product. I applied it with a brush on my eyelids and also used it as a concealer under my eyes and I found that it brightens the dark areas under my eyes and does not cake and crease.  I have applied powder eyeshadow and cream eyeshadow over this base and it definitely enhanced the staying power of both ...

M&S Beauty Haul - Stila, British Beauty Blogger, Tara Smith

Image
M&S have discounts up to 50% off beauty gifts online and instore at the moment (until 8th December 2014). I picked up a little haul instore yesterday as the prices were too good to miss.  Here's what I bought: I have been meaning to pick up something from British Beauty Bloggers M&S Beauty range for a while, so what better time than when there is a 50% discount.  This Cheek & Eye Palette cost £7 and includes a nice variety of shimmery shadows that are perfect for Christmas parties.  There's only a couple of items available online , but there were plenty of products available in the Leeds store yesterday. I really love the look of the Stila Glow & Behold Makeup Set and at £20, its pretty good value for money (it's worth £44), but M&S were offering 30% off premium beauty gifts so this was a steal at £14 and I wish I had picked up the other Stila set at the same time which was a brighter berry shade.  The set contains a Convertible Color ...
