*St. Moriz Face Tanning Mist, 1 Hour Fast Tan Mist & Glycolic Peel Tan Remover Review

Image
*I received these products for free but the opinions are my own. St. Moriz is  definitely one of my favourite self tanning brands, so I was happy to try out some more of their products. Now that summer is nearly here, I do like to up my self-tanning game, so I love using St. Moriz products to get my glow on. I always worry about self-tanning my face as there is no hiding it if things go wrong. The St. Moriz Clear Complexion Face Tanning Mist* in medium contains salicylic acid which helps prevent breakouts whilst leaving you with a natural, radiant glow. It contains Aloe Vera & Vitamin E which is great for sensitive skins.  You can apply it daily and for best results make sure you moisturise your skin on the run up to applying it and exfoliate the day before. Cleanse and dry your face and then hold the bottle approximately 20cm from your face (close your eyes!!!) and lightly spray the mist evenly over your face, neck and chest area. A light tan develops in 8 hours and you can appl

*The Humble Co Products Review - Toothbrush, Interdental Sticks & Toothpaste Tablets

Image
*I received these products for free but the opinions are my own. I was kindly sent some The Humble Co products to try out and I thought they would be great to take on my recent holiday as they are eco-friendly products that are kinder to our planet so would be better then taking my usual plastic toothbrush.   Humble Brush Plant Based Toothbrush 2 Pack * - The Humble Co has a bamboo version of this but if you aren't keen on using the bamboo toothbrushes then The Humble Co. have created a plant based Humble brush which has a handle made from a mix of plant based materials. The products inner and outer packaging is made from paper and is eco-friendly. Its Vegan, cruelty-free and verified BPA free.  These are for sensitive teeth and are very soft and as someone who has sensitive teeth I didn't have any problems using this toothbrush at all. It comes in a pack of 2 brushes and there are 2 colour options - purple & blue brush heads or black & white brush heads. These toothbru

The Body Shop Recycling Scheme - Return, Recycle and Repeat

Image
I don't know about anyone else but I am always on the look out for ways to recycle my empties rather than just throwing them in the bin.  We all know about the issue with plastic in the ocean so anything I can do to help stop a little bit of that plastic ending up in the ocean I'm happy to do.  I already recycle and I have written about Kiehl's Recycle and Be Rewarded Program  here , but there are limitations on what they will take.  The Body Shop Return, Recycle and Repeat Scheme helps recycle the more difficult beauty and skincare empties.  Its available in most UK stores and aims to be in 800 stores across 14 countries by the end of 2022. You can recycle beauty packaging, small bottles less then 50ml, pipettes, pumps, plastic pouches, mascaras, and lip gloss tubes which is great as most of them are difficult to recycle elsewhere.  You just need to make sure they are as empty as possible and clean and dry.  You can even recycle other brands as well.  You can just take the

Primark PS Retinol Overnight Hand Cream

Image
I always like to check out Primarks beauty and skincare range as it is so reasonably priced.  I picked up the Primark PS Retinol Overnight Hand Cream as it was a product that I had never come across before and for £2 for 50ml I thought it was definitely worth a try.  This product contains Vitamin E and Shea Butter so its very hydrating and moisturising and it promises smooth and youthful-looking hands. I don't know about you, but I definitely forget to give my hands any TLC and they are open to the elements as much as my face, so I really should take more care of them. I do think the hands can be a tell tale sign of age and I really should do more to protect them, so any product that promises smoother hands sounds like a winner to me. As with all Primark beauty and skincare products this is cruelty free and its also vegan. This hand cream is nice and thick and doesn't have a fragrance which I prefer. It sinks in quickly as well which is good as I hate touching things after us

Cat Comb Review

Image
I don't normally review cat products but I had to review this cat comb as one of my cats loves it.  I have owned cats for years (or more likely they have owned me - any cat lovers out there will agree I'm sure) and I can never resist buying them things even when they are more than happy with the empty boxes from all my beauty purchases.   I wanted to post about this product as I have a shorthaired cat that isn't keen on getting groomed. I've tried soft baby brushes as well as the usual cat brushes that are out there (the furminater is fab for long haired cats). Then I came across the Cat Comb and he absolutely loves it. He will sit there and rub against this comb for ages which is so unlike him. The handle is shaped like a cats head and the brush part is flexible so it goes over the contours of the cat as you are brushing without hurting them.  It does a good job of getting the loose hair off him as well.  This is a great little product and its only around £4.99 from
