Lee Stafford CoCo LoCo Coconut Hair Products

Image
When I saw Lee Stafford CoCo LoCo Coconut Hair Products in Boots, I had to buy some of them as I love coconut products.  Added to the fact that they were half price in Boots, I also used my advantage card points to get a couple of the products free so only ended up spending £8 for 4 products in total. I bought the CoCo LoCo Hairspray  which is a fine spray that holds my hair in place without any stiffness or crispy curls.  It also has a light coconut fragrance that is very nice, especially for a hairspray.  It works well on the fine flyaway hairs on your hairline.  It's £5.99 for 250ml. I haven't used a hair mousse for ages as usually they leave my curls sticky and crunchy which is not a great look.  The CoCo LoCo CoConut Mousse does not do that.  It's a lightweight mousse that helps keep my curls frizz free and soft.  This product also has a light coconut fragrance.  It's £5.99 for 200ml. Vita CoCo Coconut Oil Review

I have heard so many good things about coconut oil and it's uses, but have never actually tried it, so I was happy to receive the Vita CoCo Coconut Oil* to try out.   Coconut oil is great as it has numerous uses and does not contain any nasties. So far I have used it to cleanse my face which works really well.  I just scoop some of the hardened oil out off the tub and melt it in my hands before applying it to my face.  I then use a cleansing cloth to wipe it off.  It removes a good deal of my makeup and I just need some eye makeup remover to remove the last little bits of my mascara.  At first I thought it might be difficult to use for beauty related things as it's hard in the tub (unless you live in a warm environment where it would melt), but it was incredibly easy to melt in my hands and it's not messy at all.   It obviously smells of coconut which always reminds me of summer holidays and is much nicer than the strong fragrances of some c...

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil has been all over the place recently and I think I first heard about it on Pinksofoxys You Tube channel.  There are so many uses for this oil and since I have been suffering from sensitive skin of late I definitely wanted to try it.  Its quite expensive so I took advantage of the recent Holland & Barrett Penny Sale.  This is where you buy one product and get any other product included in the penny sale for 1p.  You just pay for the most expensive product.  I bought 2 jars of coconut oil for a total of £15 as my sister wanted a jar as well, so we split the cost.   Some of the things that you can use this oil for include:   Cleanser Hair serum Hair treatment Cuticle oil & hand cream Shaving legs Bath Oil Makeup remover Use to make a body scrub Face & body moisturiser You can even use it as cooking oil, although since I can't cook very well I don't think that I wi...
