Whittard Hot Chocolate

I’ve recently made the switch from my usual Hotel Chocolat hot chocolate to Whittard, and it’s been such a treat. Their range feels more adventurous, with flavours that go beyond the classics. While the Luxury Hot Chocolate and Luxury White Hot Chocolate are wonderfully indulgent, I’ve really been enjoying the more playful blends. The Sticky Toffee Pudding Hot Chocolate has quickly become a favourite, it’s rich, buttery, and captures that nostalgic dessert flavour perfectly. Equally delightful is the Orange Flavour Hot Chocolate, which combines smooth cocoa with a zesty citrus twist that feels both refreshing and comforting.

What I love most about Whittard is the sheer variety. Beyond my current favourites, there are options like Salted Caramel, Hazelnut, and even Raspberry Ripple, each offering something unique. Compared to Hotel Chocolat’s focus on cocoa intensity, Whittard feels like a flavour playground, perfect for experimenting and finding blends that suit different moods. With so many choices, I can see my cupboard filling up with more than one tin this winter. Next up on my list of flavours to try out are Pistachio Flavour White Hot Chocolate, Apple Strudel Flavour Hot Chocolate & the Banoffee Pie Flavour White Hot Chocolate.

At £12.95 for 350g, I think they are priced very reasonably when compared to a daily Starbucks drink and the rich flavours are top notch. The containers for each flavour are good enough to make them a great present for Christmas. In addition, after my first purchase I signed up for Whittard Rewards and I received a free gift of up to £10 with my second purchase (I chose some delicious Raspberry & White Chocolate biscuits which were melt in your mouth and normally cost £7.95).
