ALDI Dupes - Tom Ford, Lush, Elemis & Charlotte Tilbury

Image
When I found out that Aldi were releasing some Tom Ford Perfume dupes I couldn't wait to try them out.  I'm a big fan of Tom Ford and Black Orchid has been one of my signature scents for years now, although I do like to dabble in the newer scents such as Bitter Peach as well.  As they are so expensive it's a rare treat for me rather then something I buy often.  These Aldi dupes do give you the sense of Tom Ford and with the price points being under £5 compared to a couple of hundred for Tom Ford they are worth trying out, but you have to be quick as they don't stick around forever and I didn't manage to find the dupe for Black Orchid which I would have really loved to try out. I managed to get hold of the Solar Luxe EDP which I believe is a dupe for Tom Fords Soleil Blanc which is £4.99 for 50ml.  I really like this scent and will definitely wear this as you can't tell its a cheap scent.    I also got Amalfi Brilliante EDP which is meant to smell similar ...

Lush Butterball Perfume & Perfume Oil

Image
One of my absolute favourite Lush products is the Butterball Bath Bomb (for Christmas it is the Limited Edition Butterbear - so cute!). Containing fair trade organic cocoa butter, ylang ylang oil and cocoa powder, it has a rich, creamy, chocolaty scent that is simply divine and perfect for bath times.  The cocoa butter means that it is moisturising and skin softening and the fragrance is very comforting and relaxing.  When I saw that Lush now sell Butterball in a perfume and perfume oil I had to buy them both. The Butterball perfume is £19 for 30ml.  I didn't really expect it to smell exactly the same as the bath bomb, but it really does.  I sprayed it onto my wrists and gave them a whiff and I was instantly transported back to chilled out bath times.  I love it.  The perfume oil is exactly the same, but a little cheaper at £12.50 for 15ml.  If you like sweet, creamy scents then you should try the Butterball range from Lush. Both of these produc...

Boxing Day Sales Haul

Image
I am one of those crazy people that head out early on Boxing Day to hit the sales, although I am not crazy enough to queue out for hours before the shops open.  I got there about 7.30am after some stores had already opened. There were some great bargains to be had and I managed to get most of the items that I couldn't get during the online sales.  Here's what I bought: Perfumes & Victoria's Secret Gift Sets Everything I bought in the photo below was half price.  The Victoria's Secret gift boxes were £9 and £13.  Marc Jacobs Dot EDP 50ml was £26.50 from Debenhams and La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Parfum 30ml was £17.64 (I used Boots Advantage card points for this) and Eau de Toilette 30ml was £15.09. Lush I did have to queue for about half an hour outside Lush, but it was worth it to get these babies (I am sharing these with my sister as we bought quite a lot). I also bought one of the Candy Box sets for my other sister. All the Christmas items in L...
