Aldi Haul - Serums, Perfume, Powder Puffs & Body Lotion

Image
Here's a quick haul from Aldi. I bought a couple of Lacura Super Booster serums, The Collagen & Gold Serum which helps to promote firm and tighter skin and the Hyaluronic Acid Serum which helps to promote hydrated and smoother looking skin. They were £3.29 each for 20ml. I also bought the Lacura Smoothing Glycolic Body Lotion with 10% AHA blend, mango and shea butters. This product cost £4.99 for 250ml. The Lacura Powder Puffs cost £2.99 for a pack of 2 and are great for applying loose power under the eyes and around the nose. Finally, I picked up the Lacura Intense Passion Eau de Parfum which cost £5.99 for 50ml. I will say that you never know what you will find in store with Aldi, as a lot of the beauty range seems to be limited edition. So if you see any of these products in store, grab them while you can.   Leigh 💜 I purchased these products with my own money

No Spend February FAIL - Primark Haul

Image
I tried to do a February no spend I really did and then I made the mistake of having a wander around Primark, put loads of things in my basket, paid for them and as I was walking out of the shop conveniently remembered my no spend ban which I had just FAILED.    It seems to slip my mind that I'm on a ban at the most convenient times.  Anyway here's what I bought (can it be justified because some of it is for keeping or in my case getting fit). Workout leggings £5  - Reduced from £10 Blister Resist Trainer Socks £3.50 Water Bottle £2.50 Yoga Block £3  - I'm currently doing Yoga with Adriene on YouTube so this will be handy Intempo Smart Watch £15  - I'm not sure if this will be any good but thought it was worth a shot for the price.  I will do a post on it if its any good Hair Wrap £2.50  - Its 100% cotton so I wanted to give it a try as I have curly hair and want to try anything that might help me keep my curls under contr...

Cult Beauty Haul Plus Goody Bag Gift With Purchase

Image
I recently took advantage of the Cult Beauty goody bag offer when you spent £170.  I don't know about you but I always save up my big purchases for times when there is a goody bag offer, because I get to try out loads of new products for free with my purchase.  First of all I will show you what I purchased and then show you the free goody bag that came with it. I stocked up on some more Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen SPF 30.  I bought the limited edition 73.9ml supersize.  This cost £40  This is my holy grail sunscreen because it goes on clear and does not leave my skin looking or feeling greasy. Briogeo Curl Charisma Rice Amino + Shea Hydrating Co Wash.  I have tried and loved some other Briogeo products so I thought that I would give this one a try.  I have curly hair that gets so knotty if I use shampoo, so I tend to use products like this one which leaves my hair easy to brush through and with frizz free curls.  This is a new purchase for me, ...

The Cosmetics Company Store Haul

Image
I occasionally visit the The York Designer Outlet   to grab a few bargains.  Here's a recent haul from The Cosmetics Company Store. Clinique ID Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly (includes the hydrating jelly base 115ml and the active cartridge concentrate for uneven skin tone) 10ml - RRP £38 usual price in store £28.50 I bought it on offer for £15.  Bargain. Clinique ID Dramatically Different Moisturising BB-Gel (includes the moisturising BB-gel 115ml and the active cartridge concentrate for pores and uneven texture) 10ml - RRP £38 paid £28.50 (there was an offer on in store, I think it was if you spent over a certain amount on Clinique that you received a free product I can't remember if it was spend over £30 or £40). Clinique Moisture Surge 72-hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator 30ml.  I received this free for purchasing the 2 items above. I couldn't find an exact match but there was something similar costing £25 on Boots website (I'm presuming the item I r...

Superdrug Bargain Haul - Nails and Lashes

Image
I am always on the lookout for bargains, so I was pleased to come across some great items in Superdrug recently that were on sale for bargain prices. I bought the Elegant Touch Frosted Fancy nails for 99p each and they had an offer of buy one get one half price so they were even more of a bargain.   They are a lovely turquoise colour with frosted edging in a stiletto shape.  Imagine if you were Elsa from Frozen these would be the perfect nails for you.   The Eylure Enchanted Divine Crime lashes were 59p each which was an absolute steel.  These are lovely long lashes which add plenty of volume.  I think these are about £6 normally although they are limited edition. You do need to look carefully for these offers are they aren't on the clearance shelf, they are just with the standard priced nails and lashes and they don't even advertise them as reduced so make sure you look carefully as they are worth picking up for these prices. Have you bought an...

Primark Haul April

Image
Wow I don't do a Primark Haul for ages and then like buses they all come at once.  Here is another Primark Haul.  Honestly I was just killing time before meeting my sister but there are just so many items in Primark that you didn't know you needed until you start looking around. I absolutely needed to buy these trainer socks.  Oliver & Company is my favourite Disney animated film and I have never seen any merchandise before and these socks were just so cute and only £2.50 for 3 pairs.    I also bought the Pepsi socks as it's my favourite drink so I bought these just cause I could.  Again only £2.50 for 3 pairs. OMG these are so fab the old school sweet socks with Refreshers, Wham and Fruit Salad and lolly socks with Feast, Calippo and Twister.  So retro. They should have included Fab as that would have fit right in.  These were both £3 for 3 pairs. As with most things at Primark I wasn't thinking of buying these but when I saw the...

Whoops I Did It Again - Another Primark Beauty Haul

Image
Primark hauls are like buses. You wait for ages and then 2 come along at once.  Check out my last haul here .  They have such great products at the moment and the prices are hard to say no to.  I have already reviewed Alex Steinherrs skincare range from Primark, but I didn't get a chance to pick up anything from the Pollution Solution range.  When I was browsing last week, I noticed the stand was fully stocked for once and there were some products that I had not tried out before, so I put them in my basket.  Here's what I bought: The City Mask soothes and recharges skin and contains amino acids, allantoin and hyaluronic acid.  It's a purifying and refining 2 part mask.  This cost £3. The Dual Texture Exfoliating Pads , contain lactic acid, PHA and niacinamide and they help to improve the skins texture and leave skin looking clearer.  They cost £5 for 60 pads. The Oil-Free Gel Hydrator contains anti-pollution complex, acai berry an...

Primark Beauty Haul

Image
I haven't spent a lot of time in Primark recently, even though I work close to a big store in Leeds.  Recently I decided to spend some time browsing when it was raining outside and even though I wasn't planning on buying anything, in the end I just could not resist. The first thing that I bought was the reusable silicone face masks .  I have never seen anything like this before.  Basically, you apply your normal face mask and then cover it with the silicone mask to intensify the process. It's washable, so you can use it more than once and for £1 I thought it was worth trying.   I then bought a couple of pairs of stick on toe nails in metallic silver and coral colours.  I have never tried false nails for my toes, so for £1 each I thought I would give them a go and I love the colours.  I also bought 3 pairs for false nails in the shades Ice Queen (holographic white), Purple Rain (metallic purple) and Sorbet (ombre lilac and pink). These cost £1...

Christmas Sales Haul

Image
Here's a belated post of my January Sales haul this year.  It's fairly small as I am trying to cut back a bit this year but it's hard to resist buying a few things especially when most of them are half price or less. First up I bought the 9 Fragranced Bath Teas from the Next online sale, they were £4 and I think might have been £12 originally (not 100% sure on this though).  I bought these mainly because I had never seen anything like this before as a bath product so I just wanted to check them out.  They are basically fragranced tea bags that you dunk into your bath water and the essential ingredients will gently infuse the water.  Next I bought Skinny Dip Body Mist Trio for £5 and Bath Syrup Trio for £6.25.  I originally saw these in the Boots online sale but they were sold out so I popped into the local store and picked them up.  Both packs have matching fragrances which are Tropical, Sweet Raspberry and Honey. Next up were a few things from...

Origins Haul & Review - Hit Refresh, Leg Lifts, Peace of Mind, Original Skin and Face Masks

Image
When I was on holiday at Walt Disney World in Florida, I visited Disney Springs and there are loads of new shops there since the last time I went.  One of those shops was Origins and they had such a great offer on that I could not resist buying some products.  There were 2 offers, the first if you spent over $45 you received $20 off and then if you spent $20 more then as well as the $20 discount, you also got a free product (there was a choice of at least 5 products).  I bought products that I have never tried before and I wanted to let you know what I thought of them.  There are a couple of products missing from this photo, but I will still review them. I have a feeling that I heard about Peace of Mind from Grav3yard Girl on You Tube.  It's an on the spot relief for headaches.  All you do is massage a couple of drops onto your temples, earlobes and back of the neck and breathe deeply.  I have a headache right now and have just applied this produ...
