I haven't spent a lot of time in Primark recently, even though I work close to a big store in Leeds. Recently I decided to spend some time browsing when it was raining outside and even though I wasn't planning on buying anything, in the end I just could not resist.
The first thing that I bought was the reusable silicone face masks. I have never seen anything like this before. Basically, you apply your normal face mask and then cover it with the silicone mask to intensify the process. It's washable, so you can use it more than once and for £1 I thought it was worth trying.
I then bought a couple of pairs of stick on toe nails in metallic silver and coral colours. I have never tried false nails for my toes, so for £1 each I thought I would give them a go and I love the colours. I also bought 3 pairs for false nails in the shades Ice Queen (holographic white), Purple Rain (metallic purple) and Sorbet (ombre lilac and pink). These cost £1 - £1.50. At that price you can't go wrong.
I couldn't resist the mini polishes for 60p each, so I got 3. They don't have shade names, but they are a pretty sky blue, royal blue and metallic pink.
Finally, I was in the (very long) queue when I spotted these Jo Malone perfume dupes for £3 each. They are 20ml each and from the Limited Edition Private Collection. The scents are English Sage & Sea Salt and Peony Blossom. I love Jo Malone scents and I have quite a collection which I usually add to whenever I pass through Duty Free at the airport, but I don't have these particular scents and I can't remember what they smell like although I am sure that I will have tried them previously. I think these Primark scents are perfect for summer as they are very light and one is floral and the other salty and tangy. They are great to carry around in my bag to freshen up throughout the day.
I didn't think this was bad for less than £20. I am really happy with my purchases. There is some good stuff in Primark right now, so I will have to stay clear unless I want to blow some more cash.
