Pacifica at TKMaxx

I just wanted to do a quick post to let you know that you can pick up some great Pacifica gift sets at TKMaxx now and again.  They cost between £7.99 and £9.99 and contain a couple of products including body lotions, rollerball perfumes  and/or  hand creams.

Pacifica is a brand that I usually pick up in America so it's nice to be able to buy some of their products at a discount.  You can buy them at Holland & Barrett and online on websites like Feel Unique as well.

I bought a Hawaiian Ruby Guava set which is one of my favourite scents from Pacifica.  The set cost £9.99 and contains body butter (73ml), perfume roll-on (10ml) and natural colour quench lip tint (4.25g). The perfume is worth £12.99 alone.  The recommended retail price is £18 and you can still buy this at Fragrance Direct for £13.95.

 I also bought a Tuscan Blood Orange set, which I have never tried before.  This cost £9.99 and contains the same products as the set above, but in a different fragrance. Again you can buy this from Fragrance Direct. The values and costs are the same as the previous set.

 Finally, I bought the Tahitian Gardenia set for £7.99 which contains body butter (236ml) and hand cream (64g). This set is also available on Fragrance Direct for £16.50.  The body butter is full size and worth £14.95 all on it's own.

 The great thing about Pacifica is that it is 100% vegan and cruelty free.  I will definitely be stocking up again next time I see it in TKMaxx.

I picked up the Primark Vitamin Enriched Moisturising Primer because it looked like it was a dupe for the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. The Primark version costs £4.50 for 45ml and the Bobbi Brown Face Base costs £48.50 for 50ml, so there is quite a price difference.   I had always wanted to try out the Bobbi Brown product, so when I received a mini version in a gift with purchase goody bag I was really excited to try it out, but I have to say I was somewhat underwhelmed.  I have quite dry skin and the face base did not have as much slip as I was expecting, so it didn't feel smooth when I applied my foundation. For the price I was expecting to love it way more than I did. It does have a lovely lemon smell which I really enjoy, where as the Primark version doesn't really have a fragrance.  Overall, I actually preferred the Primark version as it is thicker and it made for a better base for my foundation. Primark LED Light Mask Review

I have wanted to get an LED Mask for ages but with prices for some of them at over £400 I just haven't been able to pull the trigger and buy one yet. So when I saw the LED Light Mask in Primark for £15 I just had to try it out.  The Primark version targets 3 different skin concerns with 3 different types of light sources. Red Light - Use for Anti-Aging benefits by helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles Blue Light - Helps to remove acne causing bacteria and reduce skin  inflammation Yellow Light - Helps to improve rough skin, reduces appearance of wrinkles and skin redness To use you cleanse your face and apply soothing and hydrating products.  You can use with face cream, eye cream, facial mask, eye mask, essence, toner etc.  Press the button for 2 seconds to turn on and press again until the LED light that you want to use appears.  You then use it for 10-20 minutes.  It does advise that in case of sensitivity to use with your eyes closed.  After use switch
