Occasionally, my skin becomes a little sensitive, usually when I have tried a few too many new products. When this happens I reach for KIEHL'S Ultra Facial Advanced Repair Barrier Cream*. Its a balm to cream formula which instantly relieves and repairs skins moisture barrier. Its suitable for dry skin which is prone to distress and discomfort. It contains Colloidal Oatmeal, Niacinamide and Beta-Glucan.

Usually when my skin becomes sensitive, it manifests itself as red skin with a rough texture and when that happens I know I have to switch to nourishing, calming products like this one. Its rich and fragrance free and I find that it soothes my skin instantly and within a few days it is back to normal.

KIEHL'S Ultra Facial Advanced Repair Barrier Cream is £36.50 for 50ml, but for my sensitive skin girlies its worth every penny.

**Reposted as the Primark Vitamin Enriched Moisturising Primer is  currently reduced to £2.50 from £4.50. I picked up the Primark Vitamin Enriched Moisturising Primer because it looked like it was a dupe for the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. The Primark version costs £4.50 for 45ml and the Bobbi Brown Face Base costs £48.50 for 50ml, so there is quite a price difference.   I had always wanted to try out the Bobbi Brown product, so when I received a mini version in a gift with purchase goody bag I was really excited to try it out, but I have to say I was somewhat underwhelmed.  I have quite dry skin and the face base did not have as much slip as I was expecting, so it didn't feel smooth when I applied my foundation. I have wanted to get an LED Mask for ages but with prices for some of them at over £400 I just haven't been able to pull the trigger and buy one yet. So when I saw the LED Light Mask in Primark for £15 I just had to try it out.  The Primark version targets 3 different skin concerns with 3 different types of light sources. Aldi Lacura Vitabase Moisturising Primer Review - Bobbi Brown Dupe

I managed to get my hands on the newly released Lacura Vitabase Moisturising Primer from Aldi which is supposed to be a dupe of the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. It costs £5.99 for 50ml whereas the Bobbi Brown product costs £48.50 for 50ml. That's a big difference especially at times like these when every penny counts. The big question - is it any good? I actually really enjoyed using this primer. I have dry skin and this thick creamy primer really suited my skin. It contains vitamin c, vitamin b, vitamin e, shea butter, sodium hyaluronate & geranium oil and I found it very hydrating on my skin and it provided a great base for my makeup. My makeup stayed on all day and didn't go patchy or dry. It also has a fresh grapefruit and geranium scent which is really refreshing, but don't worry its not an overpowering smell.
