A Few of My Favourite Things - Bath & Body Works Watermelon Lemonade

I thought I would post about some of my favourite things that I'm using at the moment.  I have been a really big fan of Bath & Body Works for quite a number of years since I started visiting America in my twenties.  One of the first shops (after Sephora of course) that I got addicted to was Bath & Body Works.  

 I love the range of products that they have and the number of different fragrances.  I always seem to have stuck to one main fragrance over the years and initially that was Japanese Cherry Blossom which I loved but I'm a fickle person when it comes to beauty and when I first caught a whiff of Watermelon Lemonade that was it, I was hooked.  It's my absolute favourite scent from B&BW and I can't get enough of the range.  It is a summer fragrance so the whole range is in stock online at the moment here.

It's such a lovely light fruity fragrance that smells fabulous, it's the perfect Summer Scent.   There are a great range of products that you can purchase for this scent which include Fragrance Mists, Body Creams, Shower Gels, Hand sanitisers and hand soap.  

 I absolutely love Bath & Body Works Watermelon Lemonade.  If you are looking for a new scent to try out, try this one you won't regret it.  I always stock up when I am on holiday in America.   Look out for offers as you never have to pay full price at B&BW.  Sadly they don't currently offer international delivery to the UK yet, but there are facebook groups where you can purchase B&BW products which is handy if you aren't planning any holidays to America.

**Reposted as the Primark Vitamin Enriched Moisturising Primer is  currently reduced to £2.50 from £4.50. I picked up the Primark Vitamin Enriched Moisturising Primer because it looked like it was a dupe for the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. The Primark version costs £4.50 for 45ml and the Bobbi Brown Face Base costs £48.50 for 50ml, so there is quite a price difference.   I had always wanted to try out the Bobbi Brown product, so when I received a mini version in a gift with purchase goody bag I was really excited to try it out, but I have to say I was somewhat underwhelmed.  I have quite dry skin and the face base did not have as much slip as I was expecting, so it didn't feel smooth when I applied my foundation. For the price I was expecting to love it way more than I did. Primark LED Light Mask Review

I have wanted to get an LED Mask for ages but with prices for some of them at over £400 I just haven't been able to pull the trigger and buy one yet. So when I saw the LED Light Mask in Primark for £15 I just had to try it out.  The Primark version targets 3 different skin concerns with 3 different types of light sources. Red Light - Use for Anti-Aging benefits by helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles Blue Light - Helps to remove acne causing bacteria and reduce skin  inflammation Yellow Light - Helps to improve rough skin, reduces appearance of wrinkles and skin redness To use you cleanse your face and apply soothing and hydrating products.  You can use with face cream, eye cream, facial mask, eye mask, essence, toner etc.  Press the button for 2 seconds to turn on and press again until the LED light that you want to use appears.  You then use it for 10-20 minutes.  It does advise that in case of sensitivity to use with your eyes closed.  After use switch

Aldi Lacura Vitabase Moisturising Primer Review - Bobbi Brown Dupe

I managed to get my hands on the newly released Lacura Vitabase Moisturising Primer from Aldi which is supposed to be a dupe of the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. It costs £5.99 for 50ml whereas the Bobbi Brown product costs £48.50 for 50ml. That's a big difference especially at times like these when every penny counts. The big question - is it any good? I actually really enjoyed using this primer. I have dry skin and this thick creamy primer really suited my skin. It contains vitamin c, vitamin b, vitamin e, shea butter, sodium hyaluronate & geranium oil and I found it very hydrating on my skin and it provided a great base for my makeup. My makeup stayed on all day and didn't go patchy or dry. It also has a fresh grapefruit and geranium scent which is really refreshing, but don't worry its not an overpowering smell.
