*The Hair Boss - The Detox Foam and The Blonde Brightener

*I received these products for free but the opinions are my own.

I was kindly sent a couple of products from The Hair Boss to review.  I'm a big fan of this range so I couldn't wait to try them out.
The Hair Boss - The Detox Foam and The Blonde Brightener
The Hair Boss Detox Foam* helps to remove build-up from pollution, chemicals and also other products you use on your hair.  It leaves hair fresh, voluminous and clean.  When I'm on holiday I love to swim and also having frizzy curly hair myself and applying lots of different products to try and control my curls, this is the perfect product for me.  I do find that my hair does get dull and heavy after a while and as I don't like to wash my hair every day, this is a product I couldn't wait to try out.    All you need to do is pump the product onto wet or dry hair and massage through to ensure even coverage.  Leave on for up to 10 minutes and then rinse.  Follow with your usual shampoo routine.  Couldn't be simpler.   A tip from Lisa Shepherd, the Hair Boss herself is “If you apply The Detox Foam to your hair before getting in the pool and give it a quick blitz with a hairdryer, this will help protect your hair from chlorine.”  This product is for all hair types and costs £9.99 for 100ml from Superdrug.

The Blonde Brightener* is a pre-shampoo spray that removes mineral deposits to brighten blonde hair.  Blonde hair is brighter in just 20 minutes and there is no bleach involved. Use weekly and spray throughout dry or wet hair ensuring coverage is even. Leave for 20 minutes, rinse well, then shampoo and condition as normal. This is another great product to use when you are on holiday as it is great to use after swimming to help remove chlorine deposits.  The Blonde Brightener costs £9.99 for 150ml and is available from Superdrug.

The most awarded and profiled colourist in the UK today and owner of The Hair Boss, Lisa Shepherd, explains why we need to detox our hair, “build up may appear as a change in texture, often hair will begin looking dull and can feel heavy. This build up can result from a number of things, that we might not even be aware of, like the pollution in the air, chemicals such as chlorine and even as a result of certain products, like Dry Shampoo!"

Another two great products from The Hair Boss.   I'm a big fan.
