The Hada Labo Tokyo Skincare Range* is a new brand to me so when I was sent a few of the products I couldn't wait to try them out.  

Firstly here's some info about the brand. All Hada Labo Tokyo products are manufactured based on original Japanese formulas. Hado is Japanese for skin and it has been the number one brand in Japan for over a decade; Labo stands for laboratory; so, Hado Labo Tokyo means Skin Lab Tokyo. Hado Labo Tokyo was created in the modern pharmaceutical and cosmetic laboratories of Rohto Pharmaceuticals Japan in Kyoto. Rohto Pharmaceuticals Japan has over 100 years of experience in developing cosmetic, health and wellness innovation.

Light Hydrator Sun Face Cream SPF50* - Sun cream is now part of my daily skincare routine as it is for a lot of people nowadays (I wish it has been the norm when I was younger) .  This product is new to the range and is perfect to use all year round to protect against sunburn and signs of ageing.  It features 3 different UV filters and is packed with anti-ageing ingredients and 3 forms of hyaluronic acid. It uses top-quality, photostable filters to shield the skin against harmful UVA and UVB radiation which can be the main cause of skin spots or discolorations. This cream includes Panthenol, which helps to regenerate collagen and elastin.  It also includes the Hada Labo Tokyo signature ingredient, Super Hyaluronic Acid, which is intensely moisturising, ensuring the skin is very well hydrated.  This product costs £16.95 for 50ml.

This sun cream absorbs into my skin quickly, it doesn't leave a white cast or leave a greasy residue on my skin.  Its the perfect size to carry around with you so you can reapply it regularly.

The Absolute Smoothing & Moisturising Cream* is fragrance free and can be used day and night. Its a light cream that absorbs into skin quickly without leaving behind a greasy residue. It has a high level of Super Hyaluronic Acid (this is a unique combination of several types of hyaluronic acid which deeply moisturises and fills in the skin, restoring its youthful smoothness) which moisturises and smooths skin leaving it looking and feeling great. To apply, gently pat into cleansed skin on face and neck. This product costs £16.95 for 50ml.

Special Repair Treatment Night Cream* includes Super Hyaluronic Acid and Tetrapeptide-5. It is a deeply rebuilding night cream treatment. It contains an intensely regenerating complex of Tetrapeptide-5 and Collagen which have strong anti-wrinkle and rebuilding properties. The Super Hyaluronic Acid deeply moisturises and the lock-in-moist formula helps the skin retain high levels of moisture for many hours. To use gently pat into cleansed skin on face and neck. This is a slightly thicker cream then the previous product, but still absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue. This product costs £19.99 for 50ml.

Smoothing Anti-Fatigue Eye Cream* is a day and night under eye cream that fights the signs of fatigue. It is an intensely moisturising cream with Super Hyaluronic Acid which reduces wrinkles and signs of tiredness and smooths the skin around the eyes. It also contains silk tree extract and caffeine. To use gently pat into cleansed skin around the eyes until absorbed. This is a light cream that absorbs quickly. This product costs £14.95 for 15ml.

Moisturising Facial Sheet Mask* with Super Hyaluronic Acid is a soft sheet mask which drenches the skin with serum to boost hydration and refresh the skin. The Super Hyaluronic Acid forms a smooth, moisture locking shield to replenish and retain essential moisture of the skin. To use gently press the mask onto your face, leave on for 15 minutes and then remove and gently pat excess serum into your skin. I love a good mask that I can pop on and then just sit back and relax. This product costs £2.99 for 1 mask.

Concentrated Firming & Anti-Aging Night Body Serum* includes Super Hyaluronic Acid, Collagen and Retinol. This is a concentrated firming and rejuvenating night body serum.   It tenses sagging skin, making it smoother and soft to the touch.  Its advanced formula permits it to fight skin ageing during sleep. To use apply in the evening  to clean skin and massage in and leave until absorbed. This is a great product to apply before bed.  This product costs £16.99.

All these products include Super Hyaluronic Acid so I have included some additional info from the brand about the benefits of this ingredient.

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a clear gel that’s made naturally within the body. Its job is to lock in water to keep our skin, connective tissues and eyes hydrated. With increasing age the body starts to produce less hyaluronic acid and what it does produce is lower quality. This results in drier, more dehydrated skin.
