*St. Moriz Self Tanning Range at Primark

Did you know that St. Moriz was now available at Primark?  I didn't until I was kindly sent some products to try out.  I'll definitely be on the lookout for more of the range when I next visit a Primark store.  I don't know about anyone else but we might have had the usual British bursts of hot weather, but my tan is nowhere to be seen.  Even in summer I really need the help of a self tanner to get my glow on.

St Moriz Range at Primark
The Medium Instant Tanning Mousse* has a unique blend of active tanning agents which are enriched with Coconut Oil to help to keep your skin silky smooth and your tan looking flawless. The instant colour guide will help you achieve a streak free finish and an instant bronzed glow which will develop over 4-6 hours to leave you with a natural-looking golden tan. Its easy to apply, just exfoliate skin and ensure any existing tan is removed, moisturise dry areas of the skin (knees, elbows, hands, ankles, and feet) to prevent the tan from sticking to these areas. Use the St. Moriz Tanning Applicator Mitt to avoid staining your hands and shake before use and then apply evenly, in a circular motion onto the body and face. Wait 4-6 hours for tan to develop, then shower to remove instant guide colour. Its easy to apply and fast drying.  This is available from Primark or the St Moriz website 300ml for £6.

The Instant Wash Off Tan* is enriched with Coconut Oil for a tropical scent. This is an instant Tan which applies easily on to skin, and is transfer and water-resistant. Once you’re done you just shower it off with warm, soapy water. Just exfoliate with the St. Moriz Tan Removal Scrub, moisturise the dry areas of the skin (knees, feet, elbows and ankles) and allow to dry. Use the applicator mitt to prevent staining your hands. Then just squeeze a small amount of the lotion onto your mitt and gently rub in circular motions onto your skin, blending and smoothing as you go. Allow a few minutes to dry before getting dressed. This product is great if you just want a tan for the day.  It is available from Primark or the St Moriz website 150ml for £4.

The Daily Tanning Moisturiser* with tropical Coconut Oil can be applied daily to build a gradual glow. If you want to go darker just keep applying on a daily basis. It has added moisturisers, Coconut Oil, Aloe Vera and Vitamin E to keep your skin looking great. Its also transfer and water-resistant so you don't have to worry about leaving any tell tale signs behind you. To apply after showering or bathing, ensure you are completely dry and apply the Daily Tanning Moisturiser to your body and face, blending evenly in a circular motion. To avoid streaks on knees and elbows, bend when applying to these areas. Apply with a St. Moriz Applicator Mitt to prevent staining. Exfoliate once per week to keep your tan even.  To remove it you simply shower it away with warm, soapy water. This is available from Primark or the St Moriz website 200ml for £4.

The bottles and caps can be widely recycled although the pump cannot currently be recycled, but if you check out my post here there are ways to recycle pumps as well.

**Reposted as the Primark Vitamin Enriched Moisturising Primer is  currently reduced to £2.50 from £4.50. I picked up the Primark Vitamin Enriched Moisturising Primer because it looked like it was a dupe for the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. The Primark version costs £4.50 for 45ml and the Bobbi Brown Face Base costs £48.50 for 50ml, so there is quite a price difference.   I had always wanted to try out the Bobbi Brown product, so when I received a mini version in a gift with purchase goody bag I was really excited to try it out, but I have to say I was somewhat underwhelmed.  I have quite dry skin and the face base did not have as much slip as I was expecting, so it didn't feel smooth when I applied my foundation. For the price I was expecting to love it way more than I did. Primark LED Light Mask Review

I have wanted to get an LED Mask for ages but with prices for some of them at over £400 I just haven't been able to pull the trigger and buy one yet. So when I saw the LED Light Mask in Primark for £15 I just had to try it out.  The Primark version targets 3 different skin concerns with 3 different types of light sources. Red Light - Use for Anti-Aging benefits by helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles Blue Light - Helps to remove acne causing bacteria and reduce skin  inflammation Yellow Light - Helps to improve rough skin, reduces appearance of wrinkles and skin redness To use you cleanse your face and apply soothing and hydrating products.  You can use with face cream, eye cream, facial mask, eye mask, essence, toner etc.  Press the button for 2 seconds to turn on and press again until the LED light that you want to use appears.  You then use it for 10-20 minutes.  It does advise that in case of sensitivity to use with your eyes closed.  After use switch

Aldi Lacura Vitabase Moisturising Primer Review - Bobbi Brown Dupe

I managed to get my hands on the newly released Lacura Vitabase Moisturising Primer from Aldi which is supposed to be a dupe of the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. It costs £5.99 for 50ml whereas the Bobbi Brown product costs £48.50 for 50ml. That's a big difference especially at times like these when every penny counts. The big question - is it any good? I actually really enjoyed using this primer. I have dry skin and this thick creamy primer really suited my skin. It contains vitamin c, vitamin b, vitamin e, shea butter, sodium hyaluronate & geranium oil and I found it very hydrating on my skin and it provided a great base for my makeup. My makeup stayed on all day and didn't go patchy or dry. It also has a fresh grapefruit and geranium scent which is really refreshing, but don't worry its not an overpowering smell.
