Magazine Freebies in July 2014 - Red, Marie Claire, Elle, Instyle & Glamour

I just bought some more magazines because they included some great freebies (I am being very naughty as I set myself some challenges this year which you can read about here).  One of the challenges was to read all the magazines that I have bought and not buy anymore, but I just cannot resist a freebie.  Here's what I bought:

 Free in next months Marie Claire is a handbag sized Ghost fragrance.  The magazine is in store from 7th August 2014.

    Glamours not out here yet, but I think I will buy at least 2 when they go on sale. I was tempted by Instyle, but I already get it on subscription, so couldn't justify buying another.

    Can't find the Chubby Sticks anywhere. :-( There are a couple more magazine freebies this month - Cosmopolitan has New CID cosmetics and Harpers Bazaar has L'Occitane fragrances.     I can't find the chubby sticks either. I don't even know why I am looking because I already have the full sizes in the same colours. Thanks for the heads up about Harpers Bazaar and Cosmo, will definitely hunt them down. Feel free to leave the link to your blog, so everyone can find out about the ones that I have missed :)

    Still havent found any chubby sticks :( Thanks for the tips on Harpers and Cosmo. I got the Jasmin L'Occitane fragrance (which is gorgeous) and the CID Lip and cheek stick.

I picked up the Primark Vitamin Enriched Moisturising Primer because it looked like it was a dupe for the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. The Primark version costs £4.50 for 45ml and the Bobbi Brown Face Base costs £48.50 for 50ml, so there is quite a price difference.   I had always wanted to try out the Bobbi Brown product, so when I received a mini version in a gift with purchase goody bag I was really excited to try it out, but I have to say I was somewhat underwhelmed.  I have quite dry skin and the face base did not have as much slip as I was expecting, so it didn't feel smooth when I applied my foundation. For the price I was expecting to love it way more than I did. It does have a lovely lemon smell which I really enjoy, where as the Primark version doesn't really have a fragrance.  Overall, I actually preferred the Primark version as it is thicker and it made for a better base for my foundation. So when I saw the LED Light Mask in Primark for £15 I just had to try it out.  The Primark version targets 3 different skin concerns with 3 different types of light sources.
