COLOUR:VIBE Silvers & Vibrance Hair Colour Review & Giveaway.

I was really happy to receive some hair colour products from COLOUR:VIBE* recently as I love changing the colour of my hair.  I have dark brown hair with a few grey strands thrown in for good measure and usually stick to mahogany or chestnut brown semi-permanent colours.
COLOUR:VIBE Silvers & Vibrance Hair Colour Review
I was sent a couple of colours from the Vibrance semi-permanent hair colour range* to try out - Fuchsia Bloom, Bright Violet and Silver Ray.
COLOUR:VIBE Silvers & Vibrance Semi Permanent Hair Colour Fuchsia Bloom
Each product can provide up to 10 applications depending on the length of your hair and will provide colour for up to 10 washes. They contain pure honey and marula oil which helps to keep your hair soft and shiny. They can be applied to bleached, previously coloured or natural hair and you can use the product to create a full head of colour or simply use it for an ombre look or even streaks,  Whatever you fancy really.  Obviously it works better on light coloured or bleached hair for a really vibrant look, but I wanted to see if it would give my darker hair a hint of colour. Sadly, it didn't show up on my dark hair when I tried the Fuchsia Bloom colour, but if you have light coloured or grey hair I would say definitely give it a try as I found it easy to use and much less messy than normal hair colourant (does anyone else end up with a bath that looks like a murder has been committed in it?).

This product comes in a tube and you simply apply it evenly throughout your hair (if you want an all over look) and then leave for 10 - 20 minutes for the colour to develop (obviously the longer you leave it the deeper the end colour result.  Once the development time is up, just rinse through with warm water until the water runs clear.  No extra conditioner is required as the product already contains some. Gloves are provided with the product so you don't have to worry about staining your hands.

I was also sent products from the Silvers range* - Amethyst Shadow (this gives a lilac tone), Powdered Steel (this gives a cool grey tone) & Charcoal (this is the only one that I was sent that can be used on dark hair to add a cool tone).  This is a permanent hair colour range which is mainly suitable for light to medium blonde and grey hair types.  This pack contains a colourant, developer, conditioner and gloves.  To use this range you have to mix the colourant and developer together then apply from roots to tip and massage in for 1 minute.  Leave the product on for 25 minutes to let the colour develop, then rinse out with warm water and apply the conditioner.

I didn't try out any of the Silvers range as my hair colour isn't really suitable, so I am doing a giveaway for the 3 products from this range and also the Silver Ray and Bright Violet colours from the Vibrance range, so check out my post here.  The giveaway will only be open to residents in the UK as I am not sure that I would be able to sent hair colourants abroad.

The Colour:Vibe range is available exclusively at Boots with the Vibrance range costing £5.99 and the Silvers range costing £7.99. As always with any hair colour you need to do a strand test prior to using the product. You can read more about COLOUR:VIBE here.
