Primark K-Pop Pillow Talk Matte Lip Cushions
I recently bought 2 K-Pop Pillow Talk Matte Lip Cushions from Primark. They only cost £2 each and I was keen to see if they were any good. I bought the shades Honey Bun and Jelly Bean.
They come in a tube that you squeeze to get the product out of and have a foam/cushion tip. The product does come out pretty easily so you do need to be careful how hard you squeeze the tube or way too much product will come out. It applies easily to my lips and the Honey Bun shade does look like eye shadow but strangely doesn’t feel dry at all. I thought it would look very dry on my lips and unflattering like matte lipsticks tend to, but it looks great. Strangely it does say on the product it's matte they didn't look matte to me.
Honey Bun looks really nice. It’s a bronze colour with a shimmer effect but it’s not over the top and looks great.
Jelly Bean is a lovely pink/coral colour (it looks more coral in the photo but in person it is more on the pink side) and is a bit bright for me. This one looks more like a gloss and doesn’t seem to dry down. I also broke the cushion off Jelly Bean. I’m not sure if I squeezed the tube too hard or if it was just faulty.
I thought they were really good value (obviously not so much for the one that broke, but I could still use it with a lip brush). I do really like the Honey Bun shade. I was impressed that they don’t dry out your lips and considering I have quite thin lips I thought they made my lips look nice which is perhaps something to do with the shimmer as I think it gave it a slightly metallic look and metallic shades suit me.
As usual Primark have so many interesting products in their beauty and skincare line and for the prices you pay they are a great addition to your makeup bag. I haven’t been in Primark for a while so I’m interested to see what’s new in store next time I visit.
