*I Want My MTV The Game for the MTV Generation

*I received this product for free but the opinions are my own.

Wow Ginger Fox Games I Want My MTV Card Game* brings back so many memories. It was so fun to play and see how much I actually remembered of these iconic moments from MTV history.  You do look back and realise what fab times they were.

I Want My MTV The Game for the MTV Generation
I Want My MTV* challenges players with music, trivia, and nostalgia from the 80s, 90s, and 00s. The goal is to answer a variety of trivia questions from different eras of music, music videos, and MTV's iconic sessions. With every 4 correct answers, players earn 1 piece of the MTV logo. Players must collect all 4 pieces of the MTV logo to complete their puzzle. The first player or team to successfully assemble their MTV logo will be crowned the winner. It tests players music knowledge to the fullest.

I Want My MTV offers an extensive collection of music-related questions to challenge players. From chart-topping hits to obscure classics, the game tests players' familiarity with party anthems, memorable music videos, and even the real names behind famous stage personas.

Questions include:
  • Which Michael Jackson video featured Home Alone's Macauley Culkin - Answer Black or White;
  • Which Hollywood actress appeared as a teenager in videos by The Rolling Stones, Meat Loaf & Lenny Kravitz - Answer Angelina Jolie;
  • Which Billy Elliot star appeared in Green Days Wake Me Up When September Ends video - Answer Jamie Bell;
  • Johnny Depp starred in which Lemonheads video - Answer Its a shame about Ray.
I grew up in the MTV generation, but I have to admit I would have only got 1 question correct from that particular card and that's because I only know a couple of actors from Billy Elliot. That being said there are plenty of answers on other cards that I could answer correctly and it makes for a great stroll down memory lane especially for Gen Xers.

The game comes with:
  • 100 Playing Cards featuring diverse music-related questions
  • 24 Logo Pieces that form the iconic MTV logo
  • Rule Sheet for easy reference and game play guidance
  • Optional Digital Features for an enhanced interactive experience

The Ginger Fox I Want My MTV card game* costs £4.79 from Amazon and is suitable for 3 to 6 players aged 14+.
