*The Hair Boss The Clear Shine Gloss Product Review

Image
*I received this product for free but the opinions are my own. I'm a big fan of The Hair Boss and have tried a few of the products already and really liked them. The brand is developed and manufactured in the UK, by Lisa Shepherd who has been in the hair industry for over 30 years. I was kindly sent the  The Clear Shine Gloss * to try out which is a semi-permanent treatment that helps to revitalise all hair colours without changing the tone. It helps to transform dull lack-lustre locks and works by smoothing the cuticle of the hair.  As someone with curly hair that regularly straightens it, I cannot tell you how much my hair needs a product like this. It definitely helped to give my hair a just out of the salon shine.   You wash your hair as normal and remove any excess water and then apply a generous amount of The Clear Shine Gloss, ensuring your hair is saturated. Massage it through your hair and leave it on for 20 minutes, rinse and then follow with The Conditioning Lotion (a s

Ultra Violette Mini Screen Wardrobe Review

Image
If there is one thing that we know about Australians, its that they take their sunscreen very seriously, so I have been very curious to try out products from Ultra Violette . As I didn't know which product I would prefer, I took the opportunity to purchase the Ultra Violette Mini Screen Wardrobe for £20 which also included a £10 discount code on your next purchase which I thought was a good deal (unfortunately it looks like the mini wardrobe is no longer available on the website). The set included the following products: Ultra Violette Queen Screen Lightweight Sunscreen SPF50+ - 10ml (you can buy this product in a mini set for £15  here ). This is a lightweight, non-greasy formula that leaves a lovely radiant glow on your skin. This makes a great base for makeup. Ultra Violette Lean Screen Mineral Mattifying Fragrance Free SPF50+ - 15ml (£34 for 50ml here ). This is a mattifying zinc only sunscreen which has a little bit of a tint to it. This is great for oily or sensitive skins. U

No Spend February 2022

Image
I know I'm late to the party as people did no spend January but with sales and other things I didn't want to do January and decided to start it in February instead.  So lets see how far into February I can get without spending any money.  This doesn't include weekly food shopping, petrol, parking etc, but does include non essentials like takeaways, new clothes, makeup, junk food and sweets, that sort of thing. I am going to try and keep a record of everything I do spend on non essentials and see what it adds up to at the end of the month. Ways to save money this month: Shop my stash - use my existing toiletries, clothes, food etc. I have a massive stash, so this shouldn't be too hard. Make use of the things that I pre-pay for every month - gym, cinema, Netflix and Amazon Prime (I've already cancelled Disney+ as I struggle to make use of all the ones that I pay for so I am going to use Netflix and Amazon Prime as much as possible right now and then cancel Netflix and
