*Happiness Habit Jar 30 Days of Inspiration By adbra

*I received this product for free but the opinions are my own.

I was recently sent a Happiness Habit Jar* 30 Days of Inspiration with Positive Affirmations.  It couldn't have come at a better time as last week was a stressful one at work, I knew it was going to be very busy even before 2 people called in sick.  I could just feel things getting on top of me and then a package arrived in the post with the Happiness Habit Jar.  The jar was so colourful with all the different notes in that I couldn't resist opening it straight away (you might notice in the photo below that the string isn't as tightly wrapped as it should be because I couldn't wait to open it).

I'm one of those people that tends to just get on with things and probably lets things build up for a while before I break, this day was looking like it was going to be a bad one and my stress levels were rising. The first affirmation that I pulled out of the jar was 'I am resilient'.  This couldn't have been more apt for the type of day I was having and it made me smile and think about what that meant for me and just gave me the boost I needed to get on with the day and just do my best and know I could get through it.  Day 2 was 'I am calm' another perfect note for the day and just made my day that much better.

I found picking out one note every morning such a lovely way to start the day. I'm sure a lot of us are currently suffering from anxiety, stress, loneliness or just struggling in general, whether it's working from home and not interacting with your colleagues face to face or going into the office and having to socially distance from people in the office, on the bus or train or any number of other things that are going on at the moment.  It's such a small thing and no it's not going to solve all the problems we have at the moment but you know what it just makes your day a little brighter.

The Happiness Habit Jar is £12.50 (with free delivery) and comes in 7 variations which are below (I definitely need to try the motivation one as that's an area I always need help with):
  • Journalling
  • Self-kindness
  • Motivation
  • Mindfulness
  • Positive affirmations
  • Sustainability
  • Friendship

They are handmade by a small London based business called adbra which you can read more about here and I think it is the perfect gift whether for yourself (for a bit of self care) or for friends or family.  It's such a lovely, original, thoughtful gift to give someone and it will surely help to brighten up their day.  If you have someone that is hard to buy presents for this could be the perfect gift.

I love the fact that you can reuse it time and time again as the notes will always give you a little encouragement to start your day even if you have read them all before. When I have finished with it and move on to a new jar I think I will pass it on to my sister to try out.

This is a perfect time to support small business's so check out what else adbra have to offer here.  I'm sure we can all benefit from a little more positivity in our life.
