*The Squeeky Cleaners Organic Cleaning Products Multi-Purpose Cleaner Review

Continuing on with my aim to be more environmentally friendly I was given the chance to try out The Squeeky Cleaners Multi-Purpose Cleaner from their organic cleaning products range*.    This is a small but great way to reduce my plastic waste by using a reusable Aluminium Squeeky Life Bottle instead of continually purchasing new bottles of cleaning product.  I just wash the Squeeky Life Bottle and repurchase the concentrated cleaner when I need it.

The Aluminium Squeeky Life Bottle comes with the cleaning product of your choice.  They have Multi-Purpose, Glass, Bathroom & Floor Cleaners as well as Surface Polish and Limescale Remover.  You need to use half of the concentrated cleaner, fill up with water, give it a quick shake and you are good to go.  It's that simple.  I wish cleaning my kitchen was that quick and easy.    You use this product as you would most other cleaning products.  Spray directly onto the surface you want to clean and wipe away with a clean cloth.    

So does it work?  Simple answer is yes it does, it works really well and leaves behind a clean surface with no greasiness.  I couldn't smell the product on the surface which I'm fine with and it removed the grime from the worktop.  I must admit I'm not one of those people that has a spotless house and when I clean a lot of times I tend to clean the surfaces that are clear and work around the areas that have objects on them.  Using this product I cleaned surfaces that haven't seen the light of day in a while and have definitely built up a fair bit of grime in the process.  After using this product my worktops looked and more importantly felt clean.  

The Multi-Purpose Cleaner smells pleasant enough, it smells a bit citrusy as well as earthy (sorry I'm rubbish at describing fragrances).  On the box it comes in it says that the 'product has it's own natural scent'.  We like it and think you will too'.  I would agree it smells natural there's no strong fragrance like a lot of the big brands that you can buy and overall I like it.

I really feel like I am making progress trying to be more environmentally friendly.  This isn't going to save me any money, but once you have bought your Aluminium Life Bottle you are then paying £2 each time you refill the bottle which is the same price as the cleaning products that the big brands offer.  You are also helping to protect the environment in your own small way and if we all made this small change then that would make one heck of a difference.

I will definitely be interested in trying out more of the Squeeky Cleaners products which include cloths, scrubbers, rags, brooms and brushes.  I have a feeling my house will be the cleanest its ever been.
