Epic Empties 2017

So I thought I would do a big empties post for the products I used up in the last couple of months of 2017 as I seem to have built up quite a pile.  I have really tried to shop my stash and use as many products as I could this year while trying to cut back on new purchases (not always successfully I must admit).  Anyway here's what I've used up.
Last Empties of 2017
Palmers Olive Oil Formula Cleansing Conditioner - this co-wash works really well on my curly hair.
Kiehl's Deeply Restorative Smoothing Oil Concentrate - this is another product that works well on my curly hair.

Sachajuan Hair Repair - this was a deluxe sample from a goody bag, so I am glad that I didn't pay for it as it didn't do anything for my hair.
Garnier Ultimate Blends Conditioner - I did use this with the shampoo as well and it's a nice product but nothing stood out.  I have tons of shampoos and conditioners to use up so I'm not in a rush to repurchase.
L'Oreal Elvive Phytoclear Intense Exfoliating 1-Minute Scrub Pre-Shampoo Treatment- I really enjoyed using this sample sachet and it was comparable to a much more expensive product that I already use.
The Science of Ten Perfect Blend Masque - This is really expensive (although I am sure I must have got it on offer), but it did absolutely nothing for my hair.  A complete waste of money.
Living Proof No Frizz Nourishing Styling  Cream - left my curls frizz free which is how I like em.
Last Empties of 2017
Down Town Calvin Klein Perfume - I got this half price in a Next sale a while back.  It's a nice fragrance but not one I would rush out and buy again.
Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire - This is a really lovely perfume with it's rich and sumptuous berry fragrance.  I will definitely buy this one again at some point.
Rosie for Autograph Nuit Parfum - I think I got this in the previous years M&S Beauty Advent Calendar.  It's a nice fragrance, but doesn't last long on my skin.
Last Empties of 2017
Cuticura Hand Gel - This is just a bog standard hand sanitiser it does the job and it's about £1 so great to have in your desk drawer at work, but a bit big to carry around in your bag.
The Body Shop Hand Cleanse Gel (Strawberry, Coconut, Mango & Pink Grapefruit) - This is my favourite hand sanitiser.  I always buy it at The Body Shop Outlet shop where you can buy 4 for £6.  I think they are generally £2.50 each which is a bit rich for my blood, but you get 40% off when you buy 4 or more.  The scents are so lovely, very fruity and when I use them I always get people asking what they are as the scent is so lovely.  If you can't already tell these are definitely on my repurchase list.
Bath & Body Works PocketBac Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel - Another one of my go to brands for hand sanitisers.  These are a bit dinky and you can only get them in America so that's why they don't beat The Body Shop ones but I love the wide range of scents and always stock up when I go on holiday to America.
Bath & Body Works Gentle Foaming Hand Soap in Warm Vanilla Sugar - I love the B&BWs foaming hand soaps.  This is the first time I have tried this scent and it is so nice, very light and not over powering.  Perfect for the bathroom. I would definitely get more products in this scent.  As I don't travel to America very often I do like to buy some B&BWs products from this UK facebook page here.
PHB Brightening Hand Cream Neroli & Ylang Ylang - See my review here.
Nuxe Reve de Miel Hand and Nail Cream - this has a rich and creamy consistency which is nice.
L'Occitane Dry Skin Hand Cream - I love L'Occitane hand creams in all scents.  This is perfect to keep in my bag to keep my hands nourished in this cold weather.
Last Empties of 2017
Primark PS Deep Cleansing Blueberry Bubble Mask - Read my review of this product here.
Sephora Sleeping Masks (Nourishing & Balancing and Anti-aging & Smoothing) - These are little pots of gel that you can get about 4 applications from.  You apply and then leave on overnight.  They are only about $4 I think and there are lots of different ones to try out.
Glam Glow Powermud Dual Cleanse Treatment* - I love that this is a face mask and cleansing oil in one.  My skin felt so clean and smooth after using this product.
Last Empties of 2017
Milani Moisture Lock Oil Infused Lip Treatment - This was $8 in America and it is a really nice oil that kept my lips super soft.  There's absolutely no colour pay off, but that's not really necessary in this type of product.  I have another one somewhere that I need to dig out.
L'Oréal Paris Lip Gloss - I can't tell what type of lip gloss this is as the label has rubbed off but there was nothing special about it so wouldn't purchase again.
#LipGlam 100% natural Lip Balm - I like to use this product overnight as it's a nice thick lip balm that helps stop my lips from cracking and drying out.  I would purchase again, but I have so many lip balms to use up it's not something I need to repurchase anytime soon.
LiLash Purified Eyelash Serum - I think I won this product in a competition.  I love the idea of really long eyelashes, but sadly this product didn't help with mine.  I wouldn't repurchase.
Too Faced Better Than False Lashes Nylon Lash Extension System - This is a mascara and lash fibres product that you use together and it's just not worth the hassle.  The effect wasn't that great and had practically disappeared within a couple of hours leaving me with panda eyes.
Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara* - The wand on this thing is huge (LOL), but it certainly volumised my lashes and didn't flake at all.
Formula X Nail Color in the shade Revved Up - I bought this in a Sephora Box Set.  It's a lovely rose gold colour, that only needs one coat and dries super fast.
Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil in Honey - I bought this in a box set from Sephora as well and it's a nice product that leaves my lips feeling soft and prevents chapping.
Last Empties of 2017
Aveeno Baby Daily Care baby gentle wash* - This was a free sample and is a pretty basic product as you would expect.  I have nothing bad to say about it.
SW Basics Body Scrub - I won a box set of deluxe sample products from the lovely Sandra over at Beauty Balm and this is a lovely little product that is basically demerara sugar and coconut oil. It was so nice I am inspired to try and make my own  body scrub.
Stella Gentle Body Cleanser - I must admit that body washes or lotions that come with perfumes are never my favourite things so this would definitely not be on my repurchase list but if it comes free with a perfume then that's fine.
Cowshed Gorgeous Cow Blissful Body Lotion - This is a nice body lotion it has a lovely scent and moisturises my skin well.   I would repurchase this one.
Bath & Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Ultra Shea Body Cream - This used to be my absolute favourite scent at B&BW but it's now been taken over by Watermelon Lemonade which is the best fragrance ever.  I still love this scent and the body cream itself is absolutely fab.  I would definitely repurchase this and it's on my must get list when I go too America.
Greenfrog Botanic Botanical Bodywash Neroli & Lime - see my review here.
Last Empties of 2017
Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil - This is a wonderful oil that smells divine (so much so they have created a perfume with the same fragrance).  This is great for face, hair, body and nails.
Algenist Genius Ultimate Anti-Aging Cream & Power Advanced Wrinkle Fighter Moisturiser - both deluxe samples came from goody bags and they are nice, but I probably would not buy the full sizes of either of them.
Kiehl's facial Fuel Energizing Moisture Treatment for Men - I'm not sure why this is for men as it's a great product that has a bit of a zing to it which I need to wake me up in the morning.  It has a cooling, menthol type effect which I really liked.
Erborian CC Cream - this came in a beauty box and it's not for me.  It felt quite drying on  my skin.
111 Skin Nocturnal Eclipse Recovery Cream - this is a super expensive cream that I got in a goody bag and again it's nice, but not worth the price tag.
Caudalie Anti-Wrinkle Defense Serum - I must have got this one in a goody bag at some point.  It's a nice enough serum, but I don't like that it is a pipette dispenser as I found that it didn't pick up enough product for 1 application.  I don't think I would buy this one again.
Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Eye* - I do like this product and a little goes a long way.  I've always liked Kiehl's products and this is one I would repurchase.
Nuxe Reve de Miel Ultra Comfortable Face Cream - this has a rich and creamy consistency which is nice.

Avene PhysioLift Eyes* - I think this was a free sample.  It's a nice enough eye cream, but I cannot think of a reason to repurchase it.
Last Empties of 2017
Boots No 7 Lift & Luminate Serum* - I do like using serums and this applied really nicely although I didn't see any dramatic difference after using this product so it wouldn't be at the top of my to buy list.
AA Skincare Essentials Collection Frankincense & Rose Face Toner - See my review here
Omorovicza Cleansing Foam - I usually try and avoid cleansing foams, but this was more gel like and it felt really nice on my skin.
Superdrug Naturally Radiant Glycolic Acid Daily Cleansing Pads - These pads made no noticeable difference to my skin.
Mario Badescu Almond & Honey Non-Abrasive Face Scrub - I wasn't a fan of this product as the almond pieces were too big and not scrubby enough.
Last Empties of 2017
There were a couple of sachets that I used, but I am not going to comment on them as there wasn't really enough product to form a valid opinion.
Kiehl's Damage Repairing & Rehydrating Conditioner - I used this product on it's own as shampoo tends to tangle my hair and it kept my hair smooth and tangle free.
Mio Workout Wonder Invigorating Muscle Motivating Gel - See my review here.

By the way, where I mention that any of the products came from goody bags, I am talking about the gift with purchase goody bags that come from Space NK and Cult Beauty, rather than free goody bags given away at events.

I'm really pleased with the amount of products I've used up in 2017 (see my last empties post here).  Now onto 2018 where I will continue to use up my product stash and try and get rid of a few more things and hopefully find some great products.    I have given up on most of my beauty box subscriptions this year, which has really helped me to slow down my beauty stash hoarding, as previously no matter how many products I used up I was getting more new ones to try so I could never reduce my stash, but that's changing now and hopefully I will get a little more shelf space to use for other things.

Leigh

I bought these products with my own money unless marked * which I received free to review but the opinions are my own
