Magazine Freebies July 2015

I've just bought the following magazines which include some great freebies this month.

Elle Magazine costs £4 and you receive a free The Organic Pharmacy Skincare Set worth £15.  The set contains Double Rose Rejuvenating Face Cream (5ml), Rose Facial Cleansing Gel (10ml) & Antioxidant Lip Balm (5ml).

UPDATE:  I have just realised that the Harper's Bazaar freebie below is actually from last month. This months free gft is L'Occitane Aromachology Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner worth £11.

Harper's Bazaar costs £4.50 and comes with a free This Works In Transit Camera Close-up which is a mask, moisturiser and primer in 1.  This is 15ml and is worth £11.

I can't wait to try out these products as I haven't tried out these brands before. The Organic Pharmacy Skincare set from Elle will come in handy for weekends away.

Other freebies that I noticed (but did not buy) were Red Magazine which comes with a free Jessica Nail Polish and Cosmopolitan which comes with a free CID lip gloss or mascara.  Check out my post from last month which also has details of the freebies that come with Instyle and Marie Claire this month.  I can't wait to check out the nail polishes as they have an 80's theme.

    I got the Harpers with this works last month and love the organic pharmacy freebie so much so I might buy another! Looking forward also to the St Tropez with Instyle. Will pick up today hopefully! x

I picked up the Primark Vitamin Enriched Moisturising Primer because it looked like it was a dupe for the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. The Primark version costs £4.50 for 45ml and the Bobbi Brown Face Base costs £48.50 for 50ml, so there is quite a price difference.   I had always wanted to try out the Bobbi Brown product, so when I received a mini version in a gift with purchase goody bag I was really excited to try it out, but I have to say I was somewhat underwhelmed.  I have quite dry skin and the face base did not have as much slip as I was expecting, so it didn't feel smooth when I applied my foundation. For the price I was expecting to love it way more than I did. It does have a lovely lemon smell which I really enjoy, where as the Primark version doesn't really have a fragrance.  Overall, I actually preferred the Primark version as it is thicker and it made for a better base for my foundation. I have wanted to get an LED Mask for ages but with prices for some of them at over £400 I just haven't been able to pull the trigger and buy one yet. So when I saw the LED Light Mask in Primark for £15 I just had to try it out.  The Primark version targets 3 different skin concerns with 3 different types of light sources.
