Birchbox Review - January 2014

Here is my very belated Birchbox review.  This is the first Birchbox of 2014 and I am very happy with it.  It has some great products which I cant wait to try out.  The January box is based on Tiny Tweaks - focusing on some small daily changes that will make a big difference by year end.  This is what I received in my box.

First of all the Rodial Bee Venom Moisturiser which is 5ml and is worth £15 (full size retails at a whopping £150, so I think this will be the only time that I own this product, unless it performs miracles and makes a real difference to my skin).  I was very happy to receive this high end product. Honey Bee Venom works in synergy with a unique complex of plant stem cells to improve skin tone and elasticity.  I can't wait to try this product out.

If that wasn't enough there is also a Benefit product included this month.   Benefit The POREfessional is an award winning primer that magically erases pores and leaves skin velvety.   This product is already one of my favourite primers and I already have a few samples, but I am definitely happy to receive this in my box. This is 7.5ml and is worth £8.35.

After the above 2 products I wasn't expecting much from the rest of the box, so I was very impressed to see a Philip Kingsley product.  This is another brand that I really like and I haven't tried Moisture Balancing Conditioner, so I cant wait to try it.  This is 20ml and is worth £1.50

Next product is the Vasanti Detox Nutrient-Rich Purifying Facial Cleanser.  I have not heard of this brand before, so looking forward to using this. Its 20ml which is worth £2.40.

The last beauty product in the box was Premae Anatomy Nutrients Instant Renewal Body Oil.  Again this is another brand that I have not heard of, so I will try this out and review it. Its 20ml, worth £1.90

The lifestyle addition to the box is Itsu Miso Soup.  A light, healthy and tasty soup packed full of antioxidants and amino acids.  Squeeze the paste into a mug, add hot water and stir.  I received 1 sachet and they retail for £2.25 for 3.

Overall Birchbox is one of my favourite boxes as there is always something included that I have been wanting to try.  I love the addition of the Rodial product as I would never be able to afford to purchase it myself.

Did you like January's Birchbox?
