Christmas Presents

I thought I would do a quick post on the great Christmas presents I received this year.  I was thrilled with them all so I was really lucky.

I love Chanel Nail Polishes and the Illusion D'Ombre eyeshadows, so I was thrilled that my sister picked these beauties up for me at Duty Free at LAX.  I got Taboo and Bel-Argus nail polishes (sadly the photos do not do any justice to these vibrant shades).  The eyeshadow is Epatant which is a light olive gold shade.  I love these and can't wait to play around with them.

I had read about the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm on Beauty Mouth, so my sister bought me this as well.  I will review it soon.

I really wanted to check out the Charlotte Tilbury range so I was pleased to receive the Colour Chameleon Colour Morphing Eye Shadow Pencil in the shade Amber Haze which is recommended for brown eyes.  I can't wait to try this one out.

Pixi Glow Tonic is another product raved about on Beauty Mouth, so I had this on my wish list for ages and was lucky enough to receive it for Christmas. There was a great offer in store where you could buy the Glow Tonic and get the Honey Almond Polish (a natural deep cleanser and exfoliating face scrub in 1) for £4, so that was a nice extra.  I have used the face scrub and it is a really nice product.

I got a nice range of The Body Shop products, including Moringa Fragrance Mist and Eau de Toilette.  I love this fragrance and have been meaning to buy it for ages. I also got Ginger Sparkle Shower Gel, which smells gorgeous, Bronzing Powder in the shade Fair Matte which I can't wait to try out.  I haven't had a candle for so long, but this one is Sandalwood and Ginger, so I am looking forward to burning it.  The Vitamin E Moisture creams were freebies with the rest of the items (my family love bargains too, so they don't hide the fact even when it comes to pressies).

The Kiehls Ultra Facial Collection includes Ultra Facial Cleanser, Toner and Cream, and 2 samples of the Midnight Recovery Concentrate and one of the Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution.

I haven't tried Burt's Bees before so I was happy to receive the Essential Collection which includes a lip balm, cuticle cream and hand cream.

This lovely set is from www.bombcosmetics.co.uk and includes a Chilla Vanilla Cleansing Shower Butter which sounds interesting and The Luxury Bath Box with 6 assorted bath melts.

My family know me well and know I love to receive Lush gifts.  I got a Creamy Candy Bath Bubble Bar Slice,  the Bombardino Bath Ballistic, Think Pink Bath Ballistic, Cinders Bath Ballistic, Amandopondo Bubble Bar Slice and Melting Snowman Bath Melt.

I also got the traditional yearly pressie of PJ's and slipper socks and a bottle of Baileys, so all in all it was a good year and my family loved the presents that I got them.

I hope you had a great Christmas.

  1. Can't wait to see your review on the Clinque balm as it's something I'm thinking of purchasing next bonus time.

I received some Charlotte Tilbury make up for Christmas and gave a sneak peek on my blog today although I'm tempted to add a chameleon to my stash.
