My Phyto Haul From TKMaxx

I went shopping last week and I swear I wasn't going to buy anything but when I saw this bargain I couldn't resist.


I have wanted to try out some of the Phyto hair products for awhile but they are abit on the expensive side so I always talk myself out of it but when I went into TKMaxx last weekend and saw these box sets I couldn't resist.  I bought the following:
 
Winter Essentials for Frizzy, Unruly hair - Control Frizz and Smooth which included the following:
  • Phytolisse Shampoo - Perfect Smoothing Shampoo 200ml
  • Phytolisse Mask - Express Smoothing Mask 200ml
  • Phytodefrisant - Botanical Straightening Balm 100ml

  • Phytojoba Shampoo - Intense Hydrating Shampoo 200ml

Blowdry Essentials for Silky Straight Style - 3 Piece Starter Set which included the following:
  • Phytolisse Shampoo - Perfect Smoothing Shampoo 50ml
  • Phytolisse Mask - Express Smoothing Mask 50ml
  • Phytodefrisant - Botanical Straightening Balm 50ml
This box set cost £7.99 rrp on the box is £19

I picked up the Primark Vitamin Enriched Moisturising Primer because it looked like it was a dupe for the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. The Primark version costs £4.50 for 45ml and the Bobbi Brown Face Base costs £48.50 for 50ml, so there is quite a price difference.   I had always wanted to try out the Bobbi Brown product, so when I received a mini version in a gift with purchase goody bag I was really excited to try it out, but I have to say I was somewhat underwhelmed.  I have quite dry skin and the face base did not have as much slip as I was expecting, so it didn't feel smooth when I applied my foundation. For the price I was expecting to love it way more than I did. It does have a lovely lemon smell which I really enjoy, where as the Primark version doesn't really have a fragrance.  Overall, I actually preferred the Primark version as it is thicker and it made for a better base for my foundation. Primark LED Light Mask Review

I have wanted to get an LED Mask for ages but with prices for some of them at over £400 I just haven't been able to pull the trigger and buy one yet. So when I saw the LED Light Mask in Primark for £15 I just had to try it out.  The Primark version targets 3 different skin concerns with 3 different types of light sources. Red Light - Use for Anti-Aging benefits by helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles Blue Light - Helps to remove acne causing bacteria and reduce skin  inflammation Yellow Light - Helps to improve rough skin, reduces appearance of wrinkles and skin redness To use you cleanse your face and apply soothing and hydrating products.  You can use with face cream, eye cream, facial mask, eye mask, essence, toner etc.  Press the button for 2 seconds to turn on and press again until the LED light that you want to use appears.  You then use it for 10-20 minutes.  It does advise that in case of sensitivity to use with your eyes closed.  After use switch
