Billion Dollar Smile Teeth Whitening Strips Review

Image
I was kindly sent some Billion Dollar Smile Teeth Whitening Strips * to review which I have been using recently.  With a name like Billion Dollar Smile they have a lot to live up to.   They are pretty straight forward to use, you just brush your teeth with water and apply the strips to your upper and lower teeth, and leave on for 15-30 minutes.    You then peel off the strips and rinse your mouth with water.  I love this type of product as you can just get on with your day while you are using them (if you're at home that is).   You don't have to dry your teeth before using the strips like I have seen on similar products and they don't make your mouth water while using them (this has happened to me while using whitening products before).    They taste minty and it does state on the box that the gel is ok to be swallowed which is reassuring. I found these easy to use and I had no tooth sensitivity after using them which I always worry abo...

Nivea Sun Products & Body Mousse Review

Image
Finally looks like the heatwave has ended as we have had a bit of rain over the last couple of days.  Of course being a typical Brit I was complaining about the heat and now I'm complaining about the rain, you just can't win.  Anyway with the recent heatwave it's been a great time to try out some Nivea Sun products that I have recently been sent. Q10 Anti-Age & Anti-Pigments SPF50* is an everyday sunscreen for your face and with the weather we have had lately this has been great to use.  Even though its SPF 50 it is a light cream that absorbs quickly into my skin and doesn't leave a white or greasy residue. It smells like you are on your holidays which is nice.  This is ideal for using when you are outside for short or long periods of time and would be ideal to take on holiday with you.  I must admit I am one of those people that tends to use the same sunscreen on my body and face and you end up with a horrible greasy face which attracts dirt like nob...

XO Balm

Image
I wanted to repost this review as I have recently been suffering with a patch of eczema on my ankle which I have really struggled to get rid of.  I have tried a few medications and creams, but nothing has made a difference.  XO Balm has been brilliant.  It soothed the itching immediately and overnight the skin on my ankle went from red and angry to a much calmer state.  It was also much less dry and flaky.  My ankle looks and feels a lot better now than it did prior to using XO Balm. Please note that the above paragraph was added to this post on 8th August 2018.  The rest of the post has not been changed. XO Balm* is a multipurpose natural balm that nourishes and protects skin, hair and nails.  It's made in the UK and contains 100% natural ingredients, beeswax, coconut oil, olive oil and chia seed oil.  I love the fact that it comes with a mini spatula to keep things hygienic when you are using the product, so that you don't have to dip y...

SL Face Oil by Sofia Latif Review

Image
I was lucky enough to win a bottle of SL Face Oil by Sofia Latif on Sofia's Instagram page .  Sofia has perfected this face oil over 15 years and it contains a blend of organic, natural, vegan and pure nut, seed and flower oils. It doesn't contain any chemicals, synthetic ingredients, parabens or gluten.  The oils included in this product include organic sweet almond oil, rosehip oil, marula seed oil, moringa seed oil, pomegranate seed oil, jasmine essential oil and Bulgarian rose essential oil.  This all adds up to a face oil that protects and nourishes your skin. I am always a little bit wary of using face oils on my skin, because even though it is quite dry it can become clogged up quite easily.  Sofia recommends that this oil be used on a night and this works perfectly for my skin.  I use a couple of drops and my skin just drinks it up.  It doesn't feel greasy and sinks in quickly.  The scent is not strong or overpowering, maybe just a hint o...
