Here's my most recent Primark haul.  It's always so easy to pop into Primark and come out with a big bag of items. The Primark store in Trinity Leeds is really spacious and everything is set out nicely, so it's always good to have a browse in.  Here's my latest haul: I bought 2 pairs of shoes with crossover straps in black and tan which will be perfect for work.  They were £12 each. I also purchased a pair of casual black flats that will look great with a skirt. They cost £3. I bought 5 pairs of plimsolls in different colours for £3 each.   I also bought a couple of pairs of black flats for work. They also cost £3.   I picked up some colourful summer t-shirts for £4 each (they are very similar to a t- shirt that I bought in New Look for £8 and also similar to a t-shirt that was available in Topshop for about £16.  The material is a little thinner but that's really the only difference. I love, love, love the latest beauty box from The British Beauty Blogger (BBB) which was sold via Latest in Beauty (it sold out within 24 hours).  It cost £19.95 including postage and contains products worth over £100.  Its taken me a while to get round to posting about this box because I wanted to try out some of the products first.  Here's what was in the box: Bourjois Cream Blush in Nude Velvet - I love these cream blushes and already have one in a different shade.  This is a great coral  colour which is easy to apply and suits my fair skintone. I recently visited Paris for the first time in many years and thought I would let you know what I got up to.  I had a really great time and managed to pack in a lot of stuff in the 7 days I was there.  This was a holiday where I didn't do much shopping which is unusual for me but a t least it's a good excuse for going back again ;)   I travelled on the Eurostar for the first time ever and it was a really good trip. I really recommend spending a little bit more money to travel on the Standard Premier service as it was spacious and quiet and we were served a drink and meal during the journey. It took just over 2 hours to get to Paris and then 10 minutes by taxi to the hotel.  I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Paris Republique which was on the Place de la Republique in the Marais District.  It was walkable to many of the tourist sites, but also has easy access to the Metro if you don't fancy walking. I just received my June Birchbox and I have to say that I am super happy.  I had seen some of the boxes that other bloggers and facebookers had received and I was keeping my fingers crossed that I received one or two of the items that I had seen.  I know that you can log onto your account before you receive your box to find out what's going to be in it, but I decided not to just in case I was disappointed.   Well I can 100% say that I am not at all disappointed.  There are some great brands in my box and I received 2 items that I really wanted.  I would have liked an Embryolisse product, but no matter as I am going to use the Birchbox points that I have saved up from reviewing products on their site to buy it with.  The theme of this months box is Global Strikers (yeah! world cup reference) top beauty players from around the globe. As its been awhile since I did an empties post (I think my last one was April) I thought I would do an update today.  I think I have done pretty well over the last couple of months using up products and the photos below don't even include the ones I used up on my holiday last month as I didn't take photos of  them.  I will just write about the ones I really love or don't like today.
