Poundland Haul

I always like a good pound shop haul, so I thought I would do a post on my last one (done before the start of the no spend challenge, if you have read my challenge post here). Here's what I bought from Poundland in Leeds city centre.
I have bought quite a few false nails from pound shops and Primark and I prefer the adhesive tabs rather than glue as its not as messy and really easy to do. They cost a bit more in Boots where I normally get them from.  I bought the Nail Stamping kit on a whim as Ive never dabbled in nail art before so I'm gonna give it a try.

As I said above I have bought loads of false nails lately and they have mostly been £1 which seems like such a bargain and I don't feel I have to keep them on for a long time to get my monies worth.  I just need to wear them on 1 occasion and can then take them off as I'm not great at doing things when I'm wearing longer nails. They are by Allura as are the products in the photo above.  I love the colours in these packs as you can use the same colour on each nail or do a mixed set if you felt like it.  There are 12 of each colour in the pack so 36 nails in total.
I always check out the nail polishes in the pound shop as I have had some great finds. I really liked these 3 colours.

  • Maybelline Forever Strong Pro - Green Miracle and Lilac Charm
  • L'Oreal Colour Riche 609 Divine Indigo.

I thought this Allura Tangle Attack looked like a Tangle Teezer dupe so thought I would give it a try for £1. I also picked up a cute pink and white Kabuki Brush.

  1. I bought exactly the same nail art stamping kit yesterday! I've never tried it before but I'm looking forward to trying it. I got some of the nail art gems and butterflies too.

  3. Thanks for your comments. I haven't tried the nail art stamp yet, so I will do a post when I have tried it out. I will review the tangle teezer dupe in the next couple of weeks.
Thank you both for reading my blog :)
