*Modibodi Underwear - The Original Period Pants Review

Image
*I received these products for free but the opinions are my own. I have long been interested in trying out Period Pants to see how well they work, so I was happy to receive 3 different pairs of Modibodi Period Pants* to try out. Modibodi is an award winning Australian company that produces a reusable, sustainable, biodegradable and leak proof range of underwear and swimwear as well as tops, singlets and leggings. The underwear is designed to replace the endless pads, tampons and liners that are a constant in most women's lives at some point. There's loads of information about how it works here . You can even take a quiz to find your perfect match. There are so many options for women (including pregnancy) and children of all ages including babies and also includes options for men, because this range also helps with bladder leaks and sweat. I also like how inclusive this brand is because the website shows people of different ethnicities, sizes and skin tones as well as some

*Kikkerland DIY Bird House - Japanese Tea House

Image
*I received this product for free but the opinions are my own. It's that time of year when its getting lighter on a night and the weather is getting better and its nice to be out and about. Its lovely to see birds, butterflys and bees around the garden. I was kindly sent the Kikkerland DIY Bird House* in the style of a Japanese Tea House to try out. There are no tools necessary to build this house you just follow the instructions on the back of the packaging and its built in no time at all. Its made of sturdy cardboard with a water-resistant wax coating and a dowel for the front perch. Even better it only costs £6.95. Its also available in 2 other styles - A Frame and Log Cabin. This will make a great little gift for someone or just something inexpensive to buy yourself to encourage little visitors to your garden. When assembled the Bird House is 8" x 6.5" x 6" You can purchase the Kikkerland DIY Bird House here  or here .

No Spend February FAIL - Primark Haul

Image
I tried to do a February no spend I really did and then I made the mistake of having a wander around Primark, put loads of things in my basket, paid for them and as I was walking out of the shop conveniently remembered my no spend ban which I had just FAILED.    It seems to slip my mind that I'm on a ban at the most convenient times.  Anyway here's what I bought (can it be justified because some of it is for keeping or in my case getting fit). Workout leggings £5  - Reduced from £10 Blister Resist Trainer Socks £3.50 Water Bottle £2.50 Yoga Block £3  - I'm currently doing Yoga with Adriene on YouTube so this will be handy Intempo Smart Watch £15  - I'm not sure if this will be any good but thought it was worth a shot for the price.  I will do a post on it if its any good Hair Wrap £2.50  - Its 100% cotton so I wanted to give it a try as I have curly hair and want to try anything that might help me keep my curls under control CBD Lash Serum £3   - I've seen so much a

Recent Etsy Purchases - Jewellery & Disney T-shirts

Image
I love browsing Esty and I have posted a few hauls on my blog here and  here as you all seem to love reading about them, so here is another one.  Walt Disney World in Florida is one of my favourite places and I am so sad that I haven't visited for over 4 years.  I was supposed to go back in 2020, but then Covid happened and 2 years later it looks like I might be able to visit my happy place again soon.  I wanted to get in the Disney spirit so I found some great t-shirts on Etsy which reference some of my favourite rides.  Technically the monorail isn't a ride as such but it is iconic and so is the Spanish translation of "Please stand clear of the doors" that you hear on every journey to the Magic Kingdom, so I had to buy this t-shirt.  Soaring in Epcot is one of my absolute favourite rides and "nice work pal" is said by Patrick the air steward in the pre-show. Another favourite ride of mine is Dinosaur in Animal Kingdom, and in the midst of a race against

Feel Unique Pick & Mix Samples

Image
I love picking up samples so that I can try out products without laying out too much money, but samples are not always easy to come by these days especially on the high street, so I take advantage of Feelunique Pick & Mix  which allows you to pick 5 free samples and just pay postage of £3.95. Whats great is that you then receive a code which allows you to get a discount of £3.95 off your next Feelunique order. You can't really say fairer that that. The only downside is that you can only order once per calendar month although there is no obligation to buy samples every month. Here is what I picked up in my first months order: Tom Ford F*****g Fabulous EDP 1.5ml Maison Margiela Replica Jazz Club EDT 1.2ml Maison Margiela Replica Springtime in a Park EDT 1.2ml Maison Margiela Replica By the Fireplace EDT 1.2ml Maison Margiela Mutiny EDP 1.2ml M y sister also decided to make an order and I thought I would show you the samples that she chose (please note that the T&Cs state that
