Revlon Chroma Chameleon Nail Polish Poundland Haul

Image
I bought this haul a while ago (so haven't broken my spending ban) but haven't had a chance to post it before now as I have been posting my holiday hauls. I should never go into Poundland as I am always tempted.  These seemed a really good deal as alot of the time the nail polishes look really old and the polish itself has separated but these looked as good as new.  When I spotted them I thought they looked really pretty and as I looked through the shelf I kept finding more and I couldn't put any of them back as they were all such lovely colours. These are called Revlon Chroma Chameleon. L-R Tanzanite, Gold, Aquamarine, Topaz, Pink Qurtz, Cobalt Tanzanite - The main colour is purple which changes to a goldy bronze. Gold - This starts gold and changes to green. Aquamarine - This is a gorgeous aqua blue which changes to a purple. Topaz - This is a greeny gold which looks like it might change to a darker green although its hard to tell looking at the bo

Forever 21 Haul

Image
Here's my Forever 21 Haul from LA.  This will be a picture heavy post I'm afraid but I don't think many words are needed.    I always say this about everything but I just couldn't resist buying these pieces.  Forever 21 is so cheap that you can buy more than you normally would.  I only get a chance to visit it a couple of times a year in London so its nice in America when there are shops everywhere so you can keep going in and browsing (or buying ;)).   I must admit I generally prefer silver jewellery but some of the necklaces were so nice and where they didn't have them in silver I bought them in gold. Clockwise from top left - All necklaces 4 Leaf Clover $4.80 Angel Wing $3.80 Side Cross $2.80 Keys $2.80 Handcuffs $3.80 2 Crosses $3.80 L-R  Leaf Bracelet $4.80 Wishbone Bracelet $1.80 Silver Heart Ring $2.80 (same ring in picture below) Gold Cuff $5.80 Silver Cuff $4.80 Silver Heart Ring $2.80 Gold Heart Ring $2.80

Zoya & O.P.I Nail Polish Haul

Image
Here's some more pictures of my holiday nail polish haul.  I recently posted my Zoya PixieDust haul which was also part of it  here .  I must admit I went a little bit mad as the Zoyas were only $8.50 and the O.P.Is were $7.50.  I could have bought more but managed to hold back and not buy the whole store (although I'm regretting it now). Zoya Haul As well as the 3 PixieDust polishes I also bought another 4 Zoya polishes. There were some lovely colours to choose from and I spent ages in the store before finally deciding on the 4 below. Tinsley, Hazel, Noel, Feifei Tinsley Zoyas website describes it as rose gold foil metallic and to be honest that's exactly what it is a reddy pink colour mixed with fine gold glitter. Its a beautiful colour and I cant wait to try it on my nails.  Hazel   Zoyas website describes this as a blue green foil metallic. This is a lovely silvery blue mixed with a fine gold glitter. Gorgeous. Noel   Zoyas website descr

Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencils at TK Maxx

Image
Here's yet another bargain from TK Maxx. I spotted a shelf full of makeup for a brand called Sue Devitt which I have never heard of before.  A quick google told me that Sue Devitt is an international makeup artist from Australia and her products were sold in the likes of Harvey Nichols and in the USA Macys and Barneys before the brand folded early in 2013.  So its fair to say this was a premium brand.  They had loads of different items including foundation, brushes and blushes, but it was the Eye Intensifier Pencils that caught my eye.  For a bargain £1.99 each I snapped up 6.  They have a lovely soft, creamy consistency and the colour payoff is great.  I have yet to test the staying power, but will update when I do.  Heres what I bought: Laos - A shimmery bronze colour Golden Triangle - Dark olive green with gold shimmer Gold Reef - Slightly darker than Laos Bangalore - a gorgeous olive gold colour Surat - a lovely metallic beige colour Epernay - a beautiful shim

YOU BEAUTY Discovery Box Review - January 2014

Image
Well here is my first beauty box review of 2014.  I received my YOU BEAUTY Discovery box this week and here's what I received: I chose the Organic Pharmacy Purifying Seaweed Clay Mask 5ml - I have always wanted to try this brand and I love face masks so I was happy with this pick although I wish it was bigger than 5ml because you need to use a product a few times to really find out if it works for you.  I will give this a go and report back.  This mask is a   must for all skin types but especially congested and skin prone to spots and blackheads. I also chose the Essie Repstyle Magnetic Nail Polish.  I love Essie polishes so I couldn't pass up a chance to receive another one to add to my collection.  I am not a fan of magnetic polishes so I will just use this as a normal polish as it is a great metallic colour.   I didn't get  to choose the colour that I received, but I was happy with the silvery dark blue colour that I received (its called Snake it up).  These p

Bath & Body Works Haul

Image
When I'm in America, after Sephora, Bath & Body Works is one of my favourite shops. On my last visit I swear I wasn't going to buy anything as I have loads of body sprays but when I went in to browse (honest) I just couldn't resist picking up a few sprays as I love them. Signature Collection Travel Size Fine Fragrance Mist Japanese Cherry Blossom - 88ml This is what its says on their website. Japanese Cherry Blossom evokes the beauty of the exotic gardens of Japan with a graceful, award-winning blend of pear, Japanese Cherry Blossom & sandalwood.  Top Notes: Asian Pear, Fuji Apple and Ume Plumb.  Mid Notes: Japanese Cherry Blossom, Butterfly Lily, Kyoto Rose, Mimosa Petals. Dry Notes: Vanilla Rice, Imperial Amber, Silk Musk, Cinnamon Incense, Himalayan Cedarwood and creamy Sandalwood. I really love this scent, I'm rubbish at describing scents but this is lovely as its not overpowering so it's nice to wear throughout the day.  If I had sp

Zoya PixieDust Nail Polish Haul

Image
Let me start off by saying that I love Zoya nail polishes.  They are probably my favourite brand but as you can only get them online and they are quite expensive, I've never bought any.  I got into them when I received some in beauty boxes over the last couple of years and also swapping with people but that's about it. When I was recently in America I came across a small shop that sold a range of beauty products and had stands with loads of Zoya polishes for $8.50 and O.P.I polishes for $7.50.  Man was I in my element.  I know I was on holiday but I think I went into that shop every evening and bought something (it would be rude not to).  In the end I got a great haul which I will post about soon but I was most excited about getting some Zoya PixieDust nail polishes. They are such lovely colours and in hindsight I wish I had bought more of them but never mind no need to be greedy.   In the end these are the 3 I picked up. Christmas Presents

Image
I thought I would do a quick post on the great Christmas presents I received this year.  I was thrilled with them all so I was really lucky. I love Chanel Nail Polishes and the Illusion D'Ombre eyeshadows, so I was thrilled that my sister picked these beauties up for me at Duty Free at LAX.  I got Taboo and Bel-Argus nail polishes (sadly the photos do not do any justice to these vibrant shades).  The eyeshadow is Epatant which is a light olive gold shade.  I love these and can't wait to play around with them. I had read about the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm on Beauty Mouth, so my sister bought me this as well.  I will review it soon. I really wanted to check out the Charlotte Tilbury range so I was pleased to receive the Colour Chameleon Colour Morphing Eye Shadow Pencil in the shade Amber Haze which is recommended for brown eyes.  I can't wait to try this one out. Pixi Glow Tonic is another product raved about on Beauty Mouth, so I had
