This Works Sleep Kit

Image
I am definitely not an insomniac, but it often takes me quite a while to drop off to sleep on some nights as I do find it hard to relax and switch off. I find myself running over things in my head, which keeps me from going to sleep. Generally it's nothing important or anything that is making me anxious, just an inability to relax straight away. I have tried a few products in the past to try and help with this, but nothing has really made much difference. When I visited  Paris  last year, I received a free  This Works Sleep Kit  at one of the hotels I stayed at. I have to say that I didn’t have any need of these products when I was in Paris, as the beds were comfy and I was so tired from walking around all day. Recently, I have been trying these products out, especially on a Sunday night when the old Monday morning blues are starting to rear their ugly heads.  I start off by spraying the Deep Calm Pillow Spray  onto my pillow and then dab a little of the

My Challenges for 2015

Image
I set myself some challenges back in 2014 and you can read my final update here . I have decided to set myself some more challenges for 2015, so here's the list of what I hope to achieve: Top of the list is to lose weight.  I set myself this target last year and whilst I did lose some weight, it wasn't anywhere near enough.  I did join a gym last year, so I am going in the right direction, but I am going to target myself with losing 2 stone this year and at least 1 dress size. I want to have 3 no spend months this year.  The no spends are on unnecessary items such as makeup, toiletries, clothes, shoes, accessories and jewellery.  It does not include food, drink, petrol or going out. I want to use up 10 makeup items.  I find that makeup is the hardest thing to use up, so I will pick 10 items to fully use up and list them in a separate post. This is like the Project 10 Pan Challenge that appeared on You Tube a few years ago. Go for a proper bra fitting.  This may not see

Wilkinson Sword Intuition Naturals Sensitive Care Razor Review

Image
One of the great things about buying Beauty Boxes ( You Beauty Discovery , Birchbox , lookfantastic Beauty Box ) is receiving products from brands that I have not come across before, or products from Brands that I am aware of but would never have bought the product.  In one of my You Beauty Discovery boxes I chose to receive the Wilkinson Sword Intuition Naturals Sensitive Care Razor.  Now razors are not that exciting I know, but this razor is one that I can wholeheartedly recommend.   I will admit to being a bit cheap when buying razors and usually go for the 10 for £2 types.  This usually results in my ending up with razor burn on my legs or with blood running down my legs due to a cut.  These cheap razors are not very gentle and neither am I when I am wielding one it would seem.  Since trying out the Wilkinson Sword Intuition Naturals Sensitive Care Razor I have not encountered any of these problems.   The main reason for this is because the actual razor blade is surrounded

Final Update on My Challenges for 2014

Hey everyone, I'm back and I'm ready to get my blog on. You may (or not) have noticed that I haven't blogged much this year. I was ill just before Christmas and it really knocked me for six and to be honest it's taken me a while to get my blogging mojo back. I've been feeling pretty lazy for the first 2 weeks of the year, but now I'm ready for some action so hopefully I'll get back into posting at least twice a week from now on.    Back in December 2013 I set myself some  challenges for 2014 .  I posted an update in July  here  and October here .  Here's an update on my challenges. Watch 50 DVDs from my collection and then give them away. FAILED. This was a big fat FAIL I'm afraid as I ended up getting Netflix last year and watched more on that then DVDs.  I'm going to try and get round to watching my DVDs this year as I want to declutter and I think I will have a few DVDs that I can get rid of. Sort out 100 items to get rid of (e

Facetheory Cleanser and Toner Review

Image
Blog Post Edited 31/03/2015 - Please note that this review was originally posted on 11th January 2015. Since that time Foryou Skincare has been rebranded and relaunched under a new name which is Facetheory .  The packaging has been changed but the products are the same. Facetheory is a new British Brand that produces performance driven, personalised skincare.  I initially became aware of this brand on Facebook and was lucky enough to be chosen to review their M4 Anti-Ageing Moisturiser. After reviewing the product I received a £5 voucher (which I wasn't expecting) to use online .    I filled in their online  questionnaire  and it was recommended that I try the T2 Sensitive Toner (for all skin types) and the C12 Signature Cleanser (for combination skin). Both these products are offered as a 10ml travel sample as well as full size so you can try out the products without spending loads of cash.   The C1  cleanser  contains avocado, coconut oil and silk to nourish and hydra
