St. Moriz Tanning Products Review

Image
I have a love/hate relationship with self tanning products.  I like my skin to have a lovely glow, rather than looking pasty white, but sometimes the effort of applying self tanning products is just too much for this self-confessed lazy girl. Now as a person who doesn't tan well (even in the heatwave we had in the UK this summer and when I have been on a 2 week holiday in Orlando), fake tan is a product that I need if I want to have any chance of a decent tan.     I received some tanning products by St. Moriz* to try out, so I thought I would give them a go.  I was imagining a streaky, orange mess on my legs and stains on my clothes (from past experiences when I was younger and products were not as advanced as they are now), but I ended up being very happy with the results and especially with the ease of application. Lets start of with the St. Moriz Professional Gradual Golden Glow Tanning Moisturiser * (£4.99 for 200ml). Gradual tanning/moisturising products are easily my fav

Great Ways to Earn Some Spending Money/Vouchers - Surveys

Image
I thought I would post about Survey Sites as it's that time of year when we could all do with some additional money.  I find survey sites are a good way of earning cash or gift vouchers, so you can treat yourself throughout the year. As well as cash or vouchers you sometimes receive free products to test and review as well.  I have been paid on all the survey sites below, so if you have any spare time and want to collect points for cash or vouchers its worth joining these sites: Surveys Valued Opinions  - This is a really good site and you can build up your points fairly quickly.  You need to have at least £10.50 saved up to get a £10 voucher (there is a 50p admin fee) and you can get Argos & Costa vouchers to name a few. Amazon is also included but you need £15.50 saved for a £15 voucher.   MySurvey  - You can earn points to receive vouchers from the likes of Amazon, M&S, iTunes or have money paid into Paypal.  This is a good site if you go on regularly and it&#

Fresh Sugar Lemon Body Lotion Review

Image
As the cold weather has now set in this is usually the time of year that my skin gets very dry.  This year though I have been using Fresh Sugar Lemon Body Lotion and I have to say that my skin has never felt softer.  I use it predominantly on my legs and honestly they are so smooth that it's become my favourite body lotion.   It is a lovely creamy consistency and it sinks into my skin quickly. The smell is divine as well, it's called Lemon Body Lotion and it smells lemony but not in a synthetic way.   You can purchase this product on the Fresh website here £21 for 300ml, so it is a product to treat yourself to for a special occasion as it is a bit pricey.   You can read more about the brand here .  Although Fresh does not test on animals it does sell in China.   I have a few more products from this brand so I might do a brand review at some point.  Let me know if there are any products you recommend. This is a short and sweet post today as I just wanted to

Another Epic Empties Post - Part 1

Image
I haven't done an empties post since April so be prepared for this post as I have a lot to show you.  On the downside it does highlight how much plastic I'm using, which when you see how much damage its causing to the environment, especially the ocean, it is a wakeup call that I need to be more responsible going forward.  Having said that I have got a large stash to work through first of all, but hopefully I can change my habits for the better.  Anyway here goes with my empties for the last few months. I love love love Bath & Body Works and Watermelon Lemonade is my absolutely favourite scent from them which you can read more about here . I use loads of the foaming handsoaps and the PocketBac Anti Bacterial Hand Gels as you can see.  Oops forgot about this one so had to take a separate photo.  In the Sun 24 Hr Moisture Ultra Shea Body Cream from Bath & Body Works is a perfect summer holiday beachy scent and is a really thick and creamy texture which leave

Wet n Wild Liquid Catsuit Lipsticks and NYX Shimmer Down Lip Veil Haul

Image
I was recently in Boots killing time and had a wander around the make up aisles as you do!!!!   There was a 3 for 2 offer on a number of the makeup ranges so who could resist picking up some make up (not me!).  I could have bought loads but I finally settled on 2 Wet n Wild Liquid Catsuit  Lipsticks and a NYX Shimmer Down Lip Veil.   I picked up Wet n Wild Liquid Catsuit Lipsticks in Acai So Serious which is a metallic berry shade and Life's No Pink-Nic which is a deep pink metallic shade.  They are both gorgeous shades and what I love about metallic lipsticks is that they look great on my lips even though I have thin lips and usually I avoid dark shades.  They glide on so smoothly and dry down quickly and honestly I couldn't tell I was wearing lipstick when I had these shades on.  They don't dry out my lips at all.  These are available at Boots and cost £4.99 each.   I didn't even realise the Boots carried Wet n Wild so it was great to try these out. I also
