Bloom and Blossom Revitalising Leg and Foot Spray

Image
I came across Bloom and Blossom Revitalising Leg and Foot Spray when I was browsing SpaceNK online.  I recently went on holiday to Disneyland Paris and I did so much walking that my legs were sore and aching at the end of every day.  Added to that I have recently started a new job and no longer have parking on site which means that I am walking further everyday.  Bloom and Blossom Revitalising Leg and Foot Spray has come to the rescue.  This spray has been developed to alleviate water retention, and refresh tired and heavy legs, ankles and feet. It's such an easy product to use.  I simply spray it onto my legs before I go to bed every night and they immediately feel cool and refreshed.  The product contains horse chestnut seed extract which has anti-inflammatory and decongesting properties, tangerine leaf oil helps to reduce water retention and tone the skin, yellow leaf clover extract helps to reduce swelling and improve circulation and aloe vera helps to sooth and condition the s…

Cult Beauty Haul

Image
I recently took advantage of a great offer from Cult Beauty to receive a goody bag worth £300 when you spend £165.  I always save any of my big purchases in order to take advantage of these offers as the goody bag gives me an opportunity to try out loads of products that I wouldn't normally buy.  I don't have a photo of the goody bag, but it did contain products from HUDA Beauty, Tata Harper, The Ordinary, Pixi and Indie Lee to name a few.  I also received a £15 gift card in the goody bag which I have already used.
I found it so easy to spend the required amount although most of the products from The Ordinary and the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick were all out of stock which was disappointing.  In the end I bought products that I have been wanting to try for ages. I have been desperate to try out the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream as I have heard so many good things about it.  I also wanted to try out some other products from the range so I picked up the Bum Bum …

Challenges for 2017 - Update

I have fallen a little behind on my challenges as I wanted to complete 1 a month, but so far I am only on challenge 7.  You can read my last update here.  I have had builders working on my house for over 2 months, which has meant that things have had to be moved around while they work and it's been hard to keep track of where everything is.  Everything is back to normal now, so I wanted to update you on which challenges I have completed and some new challenges.
Challenge 4 - Completed This was to read 10 books which I have managed to do and have actually carried on with this one and so far I've read 14 this year.  I don't think I've read that many books in so long I think I read about 2 or 3 last year in total.  I have realised from this challenge that I love to read so it's something I am going to make time for going forward.  I think one of the things that helped is that when the builders were here they managed to knock the sky satellite dish and we lost the connec…

Pixi Face Mists

Image
I've always been a fan of face mists that I can use throughout the day to help hydrate my face and bring make up back to life.  So I had been wanting to try out the Pixi face mists for a while, but at £16-£18 each they were a bit pricey for me.  I did finally pick 3 of them up when there was a good offer on at Cult Beauty where if you spent £30 you received a free Pixi face mist, so I bought 2 face mists and got 1 free and I also received another in a gwp from Cult Beauty.  So these are the ones I currently have (I have since ordered the Pixi Vitamin Wakeup Mist which only cost me £1 from Cult Beauty as I had a gift card (I'm not being sponsored by Cult Beauty by the way, they have just had loads of good offers on recently). Hydrating Milky Mist This is as you would expect from the name a milky white colour, but when you spray it, it comes out clear.  This is a light moisturising mist that provides your skin with a hit of hydration with hyaluronic acid to plump skin by trapping …

Primark PS Deep Cleansing Blueberry Bubble Mask

Image
I have heard so much about bubble masks, but had yet to try one out, so when I saw the Primark PS Deep Cleansing Blueberry Bubble Mask which was only 80p I had to try it.
When you apply it to your face it foams up straight away. I was surprised that it stayed foamy for the full 20 minutes.  I also felt it tingle in some areas on my face (around my nose and mouth).  After 20 minutes you wash it off and it left my skin feeling clean and smooth.

I really liked this mask and it's such a bargain price that I would definitely purchase it again.  The sachet had enough product in it for 2 masks.

Check out my last couple of Primark hauls here and here.

Mio Skincare Workout Wonder Invigorating Muscle Motivating Gel

Image
I recently got back home after a trip to London and then over to Disneyland Paris and I took quite a few skincare products with me to try out during the trip.  One such product was Mio Skincare Workout Wonder Invigorating Muscle Motivating Gel.  I have to admit that this is not the sort of product that I would normally buy and I think this travel size product actually came in a beauty box or GWP goody bag, but I thought it might be useful to have with me, with all the walking I would be doing. The company says this product is "an energy shot for your muscles, stimulating and cooling, helping you get the best from your body - ideal pre and post exercise".  I'm pretty sure this is made for gym bunnies and although I do go to the gym I never really work hard enough to require this sort of product (I am going to try and change my ways at the gym in the future).  The product contains arnica, natural magnesium, horse chestnut, murumuru butter, and fresh spearmint to increase ci…

Glossier Pop-Up Store London Haul

Image
I was so happy when I found out that Glossier were opening a pop-up store in London from 15th - 22nd November 2017, as I was going to be in London on 16th November, so I knew I had to drop buy and check it out.  I have already purchased some products from the Glossier website which you can read about here. The pop-up store is at 32 Portland Place, Marylebone, London W1B 1NA, which is within walking distance from Oxford Street where it meets Regent Street.  We walked past the BBC Headquarters confident that we knew where we were going and kept seeing people walking past us with Glossier bags so we knew we were close to the store.  It was only when I looked at the numbers on the houses as we walked by that I realised we had walked right past the store as we had walked right up to No.60.  We quickly turned around an headed back the way we came and found the store (not sure how we missed it the first time to be honest). We walked in and were welcomed by a staff member (they were all dressed…

Money Saving Tips - No1 Asda

Image
It's that time of year again when money just seems to fly out of your hands (or is that just me), there are so many nice things in the shops, and it's as tempting to buy them for yourself as it is to buy them for presents (honestly I end up buying them for myself more often then not).
I thought I would let you know about a great money saving tip which could save you a few pennies (sometimes a few pounds).  If you shop at Asda (either online or in store) they have an Asda Price Guarantee which means if your shop is not 10% cheaper then Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrison’s or Waitrose, they will give you a money off voucher for the difference.   If you currently shop online then the day after you have had your shop delivered (or picked it up) you can check online by signing on here and just pick the date of your last order (you can check your last 3 orders) and it will automatically tell you if your shop was 10% cheaper or not.  If it’s not you get the difference loaded onto your onlin…

Mega Primark Haul - Part 2

Image
Here's Part 2 of my Mega Primark Haul.  You can find part 1 here.

First off I got this Bath Ball for £1.  I haven't used one like this before so thought I would give it a go.  The Exfoliating Mitt was only £1.50. The next lot were bits and bobs that I just fancied trying out to see if they are any good.  T-Zone Skincare Spot Zapping Gel for 90p.  Perfect Glow Primer was reduced from £3 to £1.  Brow Fixing Gel was 50p reduced from £1. Finally the Micellar Cleansing Pads were £2. I got Rose Relaxing Shower Jelly for £2.50 which looks like something you could get from Lush so I wanted to give it a try.  I also got 3 Lip Jellys in the flavours Coconut, Chocolate Orange and Caramel.  These were only £1 each. This next set of items were just random things I saw and wanted to try out. Spill Proof Clips for painting your nails were only £1.  The Fan Highlighter Brush was £2 and the Deep Cleansing Blueberry Bubble Mask was only 80p. I couldn't resist these ear rings which were only £2 e…

Mega Primark Haul - Part 1

Image
This is a mega Primark Haul.  I should point out that I didn't buy this all in one go, there's no way that I would have been able to manage the shopping bags.  The reason that I have been shopping at Primark so much lately, is that I have just started working in the city centre again after quite a few years of working just out of town, so I tend to spend my lunch breaks browsing the shops and this is the result.  I have to say that Primark has some great stuff in store at the moment and they have such a fast turnaround, that there is always something new in store.  I think that's why I always buy things when I see them, as I know they will not be there next time I go.  Anyway, you might want to grab a coffee or a cup of tea because this might take a while.
First of all I have bought quite a few Disney related products, because I love Disney and the prices in Primark are so much cheaper than in the Disney parks.  I bought 3 Disney purses which were only £4 a piece.  I especi…

My First Glossier Haul

Image
What can I say, I couldn't help jumping on the bandwagon when a brand I had heard so many good things about started selling in the UK.  I thought the Glossier website would be chaos on the first morning, so I didn't order until the next day. I must admit I expected there to be problems with either products being out of stock, the system going slow or the dreaded error message just as you get to the end of the payment page, but none of that happened.  It was a great experience from start to finish.
I hadn't looked into what Glossier products I was going to buy before going to the website, I browsed around and chucked things in my basket (metaphorically speaking).  I got a bit too excited and had to reduce it somewhat when I came to checkout, as I had a few too many products in the basket.  Here's what I bought:
I ended up buying 1 of the box sets as I wanted to try out the products, so it made sense to buy the set and save some money.  I got: Phase 1 Set for £35 (saving …
