This Works Sleep Kit

I am definitely not an insomniac, but it often takes me quite a while to drop off to sleep on some nights as I do find it hard to relax and switch off. I find myself running over things in my head, which keeps me from going to sleep. Generally it's nothing important or anything that is making me anxious, just an inability to relax straight away.

I have tried a few products in the past to try and help with this, but nothing has really made much difference. When I visited Paris last year, I received a free This Works Sleep Kit at one of the hotels I stayed at. I have to say that I didn’t have any need of these products when I was in Paris, as the beds were comfy and I was so tired from walking around all day. Recently, I have been trying these products out, especially on a Sunday night when the old Monday morning blues are starting to rear their ugly heads.

I start off by spraying the Deep Calm Pillow Spray onto my pillow and then dab a little of the Breathe In oil on to my pulse points just before I go to bed. The Deep Calm Pillow Spray contains Lavender, Vetivert & Camomile to help you relax and stay calm and Breathe In contains an intense blend of Frankincense and Eucalyptus. I have found that these two products really do help me relax on a night and make it much easier for me to go to sleep. I have tried them out on my family as well and they have all had the same results. The sleep kit costs £10 here.

These products have definitely helped me fall asleep much faster than I normally would.

Do you have any recommendations to help aid sleep?

  2. Oh goodness! I need to check that out because I do suffer from insomnia - terrible insomnia. I have a routine where I meditate and then have a cup of sleepytime tea with a little honey. It really helps me get into "sleep mode".
