Store Loyalty Cards

I have been using store loyalty cards for as long as I can remember and at the risk of preaching to the converted, I thought I would do a review of the ones that I use and what they offer.
Store Loyalty Cards

Boots Advantage Card – This is one of the cards I use the most.  You collect 4 points for every £1 you spend in Boots.  You also get regular coupons by post or on your mobile app, which give you different offers such as double points, 250 points if you spend £25 or more and 10% off certain products.  Each point equals 1p so if you have 1000 you can spend £10.  You can’t use points to pay for part of an item you do need the full amount.  I love this card, what have you got to lose by collecting points when you are shopping in Boots and then every so often getting free items.

Sainsbury’s Nectar Card – Every time you shop at Sainsbury’s you earn 1 point for every £1 you spend.  You also get money off or additional points if you purchase over a certain amount by logging onto their website or mobile app and adding them to your card.  They also used to print off coupons in store when you shop there but I’m not sure if you still receive them as I haven’t been in a store for awhile.  Even if you only shop there occasionally like me, the points still build up over time so it’s worth having one.  You can collect and/or spend your points at various places including the following:  Argos, Expedia, Virgin Trains and Sky.  Generally 500 points are worth £2.50.

M&S Sparks Card – This card lets you sign up to offers on a regular basis to save money.  You receive 10 points for every £1 spent.  The more points you collect the more benefits you unlock.  I have had 20% offers off different departments in M&S.  They do only last a limited time though.

Pets at Home VIP Card  - You receive coupons from Pets at Home on a regular basis and you can use them to get money off your purchases.  If you ever shop there it’s worth having the VIP card.  You also get a free gift on your pets birthday.  Just be careful as you can’t always use your vouchers together.  It's sometimes best to split up your purchases to make the most of the offers, as the people on the tills sometimes seem to struggle to get the coupons to work.

Subway – You earn 10 points for every £1 you spend.  You can then redeem your points for various items – 100 points for a hot drink, 200 points for a snack, 500 points for a 6” sub and 1000 points for a 12” sub.  Your points soon add up and you can collect double points on your next purchase if you  go back within 7 days.

myWaitrose cardThis is a loyalty Programme that rewards you with free items, money savings on your shopping and the opportunity to win prizes.  There are no points to collect with this card.  I don’t shop in Waitrose that often as I don’t have any local to me so I can’t say how frequent the benefits are.

SpaceNK N.dulge Card – You earn 1 point for every £1 spent.  For every £100 spent you receive £5 on your N.dulge card.  If you spend £1000 in a 12 month period you receive £10 for each £100 you spend for the next 12 months.  You also receive a special gift on your birthday which in the past for me has been a free sample size product.  You also get priority access to sales and invites to special events.

Tesco Clubcard – You earn 1 point for every £1 spent instore and online.  You also earn 1 point for every £2 spent on Tesco fuel.  There are also other ways of earning points such as surveys and recycling ink cartridges.  Every 3 months you will be sent vouchers based on the number of points you have collected.  You can use the vouchers instore, online or to pay for fuel.  Alternatively you can boost the value of your vouchers up to 4x by using them with Tesco Clubcard Partners such as Pizza Express, Ask, National Express, Europcar, Hilton Hotels to name a few.

Holland and Barrett Rewards for Life Card – You earn 4 points for every £1 you spend and received 150 points when you activate your card.  You then receive coupons when you collect 50 points or more.

Harvey Nichols Reward App – This is a mobile app where you earn 1 point for every £1 spent.  You unlock rewards up to 4 times a year and the rewards are based on your points tier.  You can then redeem your chosen reward on your app.  I must admit I haven’t earned any rewards on my card yet as I have a problem accessing the app for some reason but I would love to know what kind of rewards you can earn.

House of Fraser Recognition card - You earn 1 point for every £1 you spend at House of Fraser in store and online.  For every 500 points you earn you receive a £5 reward directly on your card.  You also receive bonus points on your birthday month and there are exclusive offers and events.

Debenhams Beauty Club Card - You earn 3 points for every £1 spent on beauty, fragrance, beauty services and beauty electrical.  You then receive £5 for every 500 points you collect to spend on your favourite beauty brands.

Superdrug Health & Beautycard - You earn 1 point for every £1 you spend.  You can spend your points in multiples of 100 so 100 points = £1.  You also receive free online delivery (no minimum spend) and a free birthday treat.

The Body Shop Love Your Body Club - Earn 10 points for every £1 spent. You earn a £5 reward for every 500 points you collect. You get invited to exclusive members only events and get sneak previews of new collections.  You also receive a £5 reward on your birthday.

Paperchase Treat Me Card - There are no points to collect with this card.  Some of the treats you receive are receiving 15% off after your first purchase (valid for 30 days).  £5 off on your birthday (valid for 14 days) and when you spend £50 or more (valid for 30 days).

Benito Brow Bar Card - If you like to get your eyebrows threaded, they have a loyalty card which you can get stamped each time you get your eyebrows done and the 8th visit is free.

Hope this post has been useful.  Have I missed any loyalty cards?
