Boots Haul and Offers

Boots had an event night last week in Meadowhall where if you spent £50 you received £12 worth of advantage points. This was an offer I couldn't resist especially as there were a couple of good makeup freebies to be had if you spent £15 or more.

My first purchase was Max Factor Lashfinity 3 day Mascara.  I have been wanting to try this for awhile as I want to see if it really works, as mascara is the one makeup item I use on a daily basis and if this lasts for 3 days than its a good time saver (I'm trying to justify my purchases here).  This cost £18.99 which is steep so I will definitely review it here once I have a chance to try it out.  It better work for that price.  Anyway the reason that I justified this purchase is that it came with a free gift if you spent £15 or more which is worth £28.  The free gift included:

False Lash Effect Mascara Black Brown Waterproof 13.1ml
Glossfinity Nail Polish in Cobalt blue 11ml
Lipfinity Lip Colour in Essential Natural
£3 voucher on Max Factor Whipped Cream Foundation

My second purchase was L'Oreal Nails a Porter which are stick on nails in beige with a black edge £7.99 and Collection Privee by Eva lipstick in Nude £8.19.

If you spent £15 or more you received a free gift worth £30 which included:

Volume Million Lashes Hologram top Coat 8.5ml
Colour Riche Lipstick 461 Scarlett Creme 24g
Colour Riche Nail Polish 401 Rouge Pin up 5ml
2 Revitalift Laser Renew Sachets 1.5ml
Youth Code Night Sachet 1.5ml
£2.50 coupon off Paris True Match Liquid Foundation

I also bought a Stila Smudge Pot in Kitten for £13.  I have wanted to try this for ages.

2 Maybelline Color Show Brocades nail polishes in Knitted Gold & Rosy Rosettes £3.99 each (not the greatest names I must admit).  There was a 3 for 2 offer on so I also got a Baby Lips Moisturising Lip Balm in Pink Punch worth £2.99 for free and if you bought 3 Maybelline products you also got a Baby Lips Cherry Velvet limited edition sample.

Finally I got a Bourjois Color Edition 24H Eyeshadow in Kaki Cheri for £6.99 (sorry for some reason I didn't take a photo).

Now as some of you may have noticed the items above work out at over £60 and I must confess that I did do 2 £50 purchases but the rest of the items were either my sisters or necessities which I'm not including as they aren't that interesting.

I really enjoyed this shop as I got some items that I had wanted to buy for ages and some that I just bought on an impulse and can't wait to try out.  I always love it when I can combine a good shop with great offers.

Have you bought any goodies from Boots lately?
