*The Hair Boss Product Review

*I received these products for free but the opinions are my own.

I had not heard anything about The Hair Boss before I received the products, so I was really interested to try them out. This is a brand developed and manufactured in the UK, by Lisa Shepherd who has been in the hair industry for over 30 years. You can read more about the brand here and there is a useful hair consultation page which helps you select the right products for your hair type.

The Hair Boss Product Review
The first product that I tried out was The Clear Shine Gloss* which is a semi-permanent treatment that helps to revitalise all hair colours without changing the tone. It helps to transform dull lack-lustre locks and works by smoothing the cuticle of the hair.  As someone with curly hair that regularly straightens it, I cannot tell you how much my hair needs a product like this. It definitely helped to give my hair a just out of the salon shine.  You wash your hair as normal and then apply a generous amount of The Clear Shine Gloss and leave on for 20 minutes, rinse and then follow with The Conditioning Lotion to lock in the shine. This product is £14.99 for 150ml.

The Conditioning Lotion* is a creamy conditioner that is suitable for all hair types and helps to condition and detangle hair, whilst enhancing softness and shine. This product contains vitamin E, almond, argan and avocado oil which provided a much needed shot of hydration to my parched locks. This product is used after shampooing and can be rinsed out after a couple of minutes. This product is £8.99 for 250ml.

The final product that I tried out was The Body Building Foam Conditioner* which is a rinse out conditioner that nourishes and hydrates the hair without weighing it down. It also detangles and adds softness and shine. This is a great product for when my hair is straight as it does have a tendency to lack body, so a little bit of volume really helps. This product is enriched with shea butter and argan oil and needs to be applied to the mid-lengths and ends and left on for a few minutes.  This product is £8.99 for 180ml.

I felt like these products worked really well on my hair and there are definitely a few more products from the range that I need to try out. The products are all reasonably priced as well. You can buy them from The Hair Boss website, or at Superdrug and ASOS.
