*St Moriz Self Tanning Product Review

*I received these products for free but the opinions are my own.

Like a lot of people over the last couple of years I haven't been on my usual summer holiday to a hotter climate (hopefully these types of trips will be back for most of us soon), so when I was sent some St Moriz self tanning products* it was very welcome as I am looking very pale and pasty.

St Moriz Self Tanning Product Review

This is a spray on lightweight mist which is fast drying, transfer resistant and is easily washed off at the end of the day.  This is perfect for that unexpected hot summer day where you suddenly have the opportunity to get your legs out which have been hidden most of the year.  I must admit I very rarely wear shorts in this country but this was a great product to use when we had the heatwave a few weeks back.  It gave me a natural looking tan on my legs and was quick and easy to apply and didn't leave stains anywhere (the most important thing with self tanning).  This product has a very light fruity scent.

All you need to do with this product is exfoliate skin before using and moisturise dry areas of the skin (knees, ankles, elbows etc), shake the can and spray lightly and evenly  15 cms away from the body and then blend in with a tanning mitt.  Leave for 60 seconds before getting dressed.

St Moriz Advanced Express Tan Foaming Water* - £10.99
For those of you that want to be able to choose how dark you tan then this is the perfect product.  You apply this product with an tanning mitt or glove, blend in well in a circular motion on your body and face and wait until its fully dry before getting dressed.  Your tan will begin to develop after 1 hour which will give you a light tan, leave for 3 hours for a medium tan and 6 hours for a dark tan.  You wash off the product once you have achieved your desired colour tone. This product is fragrance free so you can go about your business while you are waiting for it to develop to the colour you want.  It dries really quickly on the skin after application so there is no transfer to your clothes.  This is a great product that gives you the perfect tan for summer.
This is a great product for those of us on the go.  You just need to exfoliate the night before and in the morning after cleansing your face you lightly spray the mist evenly over your face, neck and décolletage.  A light tan will develop in up to 8 hours.  You can apply this daily to maintain a deeper tan.  It does recommend that when waiting for the product to develop that you avoid water, perspiration and applying other products to the skin so you do need to be mindful of that when you use it, so don't plan to go swimming or to the gym straight after applying it. You can apply this product over or under make up and even before bed and it wont stain your bedsheets. This product contains Aloe Vera and Vitamin E to help soothe and protect your skin from environmental pollution.

This is a perfect product to apply your St Moriz self tanning products.  Its created with a water resistant barrier to help create a flawless finish without staining your hands.  It is so soft on your skin and makes applying your self tan so easy leaving no streaks on your skin.  The mini version is perfect for blending the product into the contours of your face, hands and feet with minimal effort.  I love that they have thought of this as its a great idea and makes it so much easier to apply onto your face.  The mitts are machine washable and reusable and come in a storage pouch to keep them clean when not in use.

When using these products please note that they don't contain SPF so you still need to apply sunscreen as normal.

St Moriz products are available at the St Moriz website, Boots and Superdrug.

St Moriz is made in the UK (developed and manufactured in the UK) so its always nice to support British brands.
