Clinique Moisture Surge Sheertint Hydrator SPF 25

I am a  big fan of Clinique's Moisture Surge range and have recently picked up the Moisture Surge Sheertint Hydrator SPF 25.  I tried the product out at the Clinique counter in Debenhams to find out what shade  suited me and the lady at the counter advised me that Universal Light was the best fit.  There are only 5 shades in the range Universal Shade 1 - Very Light, Shade 2 - Light, Shade 3 - Light Medium, Shade 4 - Medium, & Shade 5 - Medium Deep.  The product uses Mimetic-Shade Technology which means each shade blends with a range of skin tones.
Clinique Moisture Surge Sheertint Hydrator Review
The Clinique Moisture Surge Sheertint Hydrator can be applied directly to skin or over your moisturiser and gives 12 hours of  hydration, complexion perfection and protection all in one (or at least that's what it says on the Clinique website).  To be honest I really like this product.  I don't often wear full on foundation (although I have recently bought a couple to try out and will let you know how I got on shortly) as I prefer a moisturising tint and this is ideal.

Normally I like to put moisturising tints over a moisturiser to make sure that they don't dry out, but I have tried this product without a moisturiser and it looks  and feels great.  It gives me a little bit of colour and just the right amount of glow and I don't have any dry or patchy areas.   In fact I really don't feel like I am wearing anything on my skin when I wear this product. I love the fact that it includes SPF as well as it's nice to know my skin is protected and I don't need to add an extra step in my morning routine.

If you are looking for medium to full coverage then this isn't the product for you.  If you are looking for a sheer coverage that just gives you a little glow then give this product a try. I love it, it's a product that I like to wear daily as it helps my skin stay hydrated and protected throughout the day (Hyaluronic acid and activated aloe water help keep skin hydrated for 12 hours) and it just gives my skin the right amount of colour and glow.

Clinique Moisture Surge Sheertint Hydrator costs £30 for 40ml.
