Sorry I've not blogged for while.  I cant believe how nice this weather is and I'm making the most of it. 
I visited a great Spa a few weeks ago.  I went to Eastthorpe Hall Health and Beauty Spa in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. 




This was my first visit here (I've previously visited Ragdale, Eden Hall and Seaham Hall Serenity Spa, all of which have been lovely but are about a 2 hour drive away).  Eastthorpe is about a 20 minute drive from home, so I thought I would give it a try.  I booked a full day package for £150 which was one of their special offers.  The package includes:-

Time:- 9.00am – 5.30pm – arrival @ 8.45am
Package:- ‘Spring is in the air’ full day package @ £150 per person

The whole day was fab and the body massage and facial were the best treatments I've ever had.  The food was great as well, it was a buffet which was healthy but tasty.  If I had any complaints it was that the pool was quite small and your day was very structured so you couldn't just pop back to the pool anytime you didn't have treatments. Once you had been in the pool in the morning you weren't able to go in again.  On the plus side there were no more than 15 people there on the day so that was nice.  I would honestly recommend this Spa if you are looking for one to visit as it was a really lovely day and I can't wait to visit again.

I picked up the Primark Vitamin Enriched Moisturising Primer because it looked like it was a dupe for the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. The Primark version costs £4.50 for 45ml and the Bobbi Brown Face Base costs £48.50 for 50ml, so there is quite a price difference.   I had always wanted to try out the Bobbi Brown product, so when I received a mini version in a gift with purchase goody bag I was really excited to try it out, but I have to say I was somewhat underwhelmed.  I have quite dry skin and the face base did not have as much slip as I was expecting, so it didn't feel smooth when I applied my foundation. For the price I was expecting to love it way more than I did. Primark LED Light Mask Review

I have wanted to get an LED Mask for ages but with prices for some of them at over £400 I just haven't been able to pull the trigger and buy one yet. So when I saw the LED Light Mask in Primark for £15 I just had to try it out.  The Primark version targets 3 different skin concerns with 3 different types of light sources. Red Light - Use for Anti-Aging benefits by helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles Blue Light - Helps to remove acne causing bacteria and reduce skin  inflammation Yellow Light - Helps to improve rough skin, reduces appearance of wrinkles and skin redness To use you cleanse your face and apply soothing and hydrating products.  You can use with face cream, eye cream, facial mask, eye mask, essence, toner etc.  Press the button for 2 seconds to turn on and press again until the LED light that you want to use appears.  You then use it for 10-20 minutes.  It does advise that in case of sensitivity to use with your eyes closed.  After use switch

Aldi Lacura Vitabase Moisturising Primer Review - Bobbi Brown Dupe

I managed to get my hands on the newly released Lacura Vitabase Moisturising Primer from Aldi which is supposed to be a dupe of the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. It costs £5.99 for 50ml whereas the Bobbi Brown product costs £48.50 for 50ml. That's a big difference especially at times like these when every penny counts. The big question - is it any good? I actually really enjoyed using this primer. I have dry skin and this thick creamy primer really suited my skin. It contains vitamin c, vitamin b, vitamin e, shea butter, sodium hyaluronate & geranium oil and I found it very hydrating on my skin and it provided a great base for my makeup. My makeup stayed on all day and didn't go patchy or dry. It also has a fresh grapefruit and geranium scent which is really refreshing, but don't worry its not an overpowering smell.
