Its that time of year when I barely go outside when its light.  I wake up and start work when its dark and I finish work when its already dark, so to say I am a bit pale is an understatement.  I'm giving Wednesday Addams a run for her money in terms of who is paler.    Luckily I was sent the St Moriz 1 Hour Fast Tan Mousse & Tanning Mitt Set* to try out which was perfect timing.

St Moriz 1 Hour Fast Tan Mousse* is great if you like a quick fix tan (which I do) as it allows you to control your shade. It contains Aloe Vera and Vitamin E which helps leave your skin super soft. You can choose to have a light sunkissed glow by leaving the product on for 1 hour, or for a golden glow leave on 2 hours, or for a deep bronzed look leave on for 3 hours. Get the glow you want by leaving it on for the appropriate amount of time. Its as simple as that.

To apply make sure that you exfoliate and shave at least 24 hours before using the product. Pump the product onto an applicator mitt or glove and blend well in a circular motion on your body and face. Bend knees and elbows to avoid streaks and wait until you are fully dry before getting dressed. Your tan will begin to develop after 1 hour and will continue to develop up to 8 hours. When you are happy with the guide colour just wash off avoiding soap, shower gels and shampoo.

The St Moriz Face & Body Double Sided Tanning Mitt Set* is great to apply this product with, helping to ensure a flawless finish without staining your hands. The mini face mitt is really handy to blend the tan into the contours of your face and your hands and feet as well. Its reusable and machine washable.

I picked up the Primark Vitamin Enriched Moisturising Primer because it looked like it was a dupe for the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. I have wanted to get an LED Mask for ages but with prices for some of them at over £400 I just haven't been able to pull the trigger and buy one yet. So when I saw the LED Light Mask in Primark for £15 I just had to try it out.  The Primark version targets 3 different skin concerns with 3 different types of light sources. Aldi Lacura Vitabase Moisturising Primer Review - Bobbi Brown Dupe

I managed to get my hands on the newly released Lacura Vitabase Moisturising Primer from Aldi which is supposed to be a dupe of the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. It costs £5.99 for 50ml whereas the Bobbi Brown product costs £48.50 for 50ml. That's a big difference especially at times like these when every penny counts. The big question - is it any good? I actually really enjoyed using this primer. I have dry skin and this thick creamy primer really suited my skin. It contains vitamin c, vitamin b, vitamin e, shea butter, sodium hyaluronate & geranium oil and I found it very hydrating on my skin and it provided a great base for my makeup. My makeup stayed on all day and didn't go patchy or dry. It also has a fresh grapefruit and geranium scent which is really refreshing, but don't worry its not an overpowering smell.
