*GEOMAG Glow - Glow in the Dark Magnetic Rods

*I received this product for free but the opinions are my own.

I was kindly sent the Geomag Glow* set to review and having enjoyed a number of other sets from this company I was keen to try it out.  I mean who doesn't like glow in the dark items.

The Glow range is packed full of natural materials inside 100% recycled plastic. The magnetic rods are made with 100% natural glowing substances which accumulate energy when they are exposed to a light source.  Then in the dark they release this energy as natural light.   What kids (and adults!) aren't going to like this set where they can build whatever they want and then watch as it glows in the dark.

It comes with an instruction book which you can refer to if needed or just use your imagination. You just connect the magnetic rods to the metal spheres and build 3D magnetic structures. This 42-piece set includes 20 spheres, 20 magnetic rods and 2 plastic bases and storage boxes. The Geomag Glow Recycled 42 Piece Set is available for £26.24 (usually £34.99) from The Entertainer. There is also a 25 and a 60 piece set available as well. It is suitable for ages 3 and up although obviously younger children should always be supervised.

The great thing about these sets is that you don't need anything other than the pieces themselves and the invisible force of magnetism.  There's no glue or anything needed to stick them together so no mess (as long as the pieces go back into the storage box when not being played with).  Just build to your hearts content, there really is no limit other then your imagination.   You ca even add it together with any of the other sets to build even bigger sets.

If sustainability is important to you then the info below details how Geomag takes their environmental responsibilities seriously.

Geomagworld has created award-winning toys since 1998. They created the world’s first magnetic construction toy and have always focused on their environmental responsibilities.  Geomag has embraced the attitude of the circular economy for many years now. In 2020 they converted their Magicube and Classic lines to use 100% recycled plastics. In 2021 they achieved their goal and transitioned all new lines into recycled plastic, including Mechanics. Their packaging is also made with over 70% recycled materials and their production process uses 100% renewable energy. Geomag really does show that educational and fun play really can be green through their award-winning and STEM.org certified Swiss-made toys.

Sustainable and fun what a great combination.
