Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter Review
I have to admit that I am not a big fan of highlighters as I think they can look too in your face for my taste, so when I am going for a full on glam look (which isn't often I might add), then I just want a lit from within subtle glow. I think that I have found the perfect product from Charlotte Tilbury the Hollywood Flawless Filter which promises a superstar youth glow.
Charlotte Tilbury is one of my favourite makeup and beauty brands, so I always take advantage of goody bag offers from Cult Beauty to stock up on CTs latest products. The Hollywood Flawless Filter is £30 for 30ml and comes in 7 shades. It has a doe-foot applicator which makes it easy to dot the product onto your skin and I find it blends just as well with fingers as with a beauty blender. I picked shade 3 Light/Medium and although it looks a bit dark and orange in the bottle, it doesn't come out that way and it is the perfect shade for me.
You can apply it all over the face as a flawless filer, or on top of foundation for extra coverage and I would also use it just to highlight cheeks and nose and top of the lip if I just wanted a hint of a subtle sheen to brighten up my complexion. Hopefully you can see from the photo below the glow the product leaves on your skin (bear in mind that the skin on my arm in the photo is paler than the skin on my face, so it's more subtle that it looks in the photo).
I prefer to wear it under my foundation or cc cream as it makes a great primer and instantly diminishes pores. Once I apply foundation my skin is left with a subtle glow which is perfect. There's no sparkle or glimmer just a dewiness that makes your skin look the best it can be. I am totally in love with this product and will be using it a lot during the summer. If you are looking for a complexion booster then give this product a try.
As always CTs packaging is spot on from the classy glass bottle with the rose gold lid to the beautiful pale pink and gold box I will hopefully do a full brand review on all the CT products that I own, so look out for that soon.
I buy my CT products from Cult Beauty, in store at Harvey Nichols or on the Charlotte Tilbury website. What Charlotte Tilbury products do you recommend?
