Birchbox Review - June 2014 - One of the best ones yet?

I just received my June Birchbox and I have to say that I am super happy.  I had seen some of the boxes that other bloggers and facebookers had received and I was keeping my fingers crossed that I received one or two of the items that I had seen.  I know that you can log onto your account before you receive your box to find out what's going to be in it, but I decided not to just in case I was disappointed.

Well I can 100% say that I am not at all disappointed.  There are some great brands in my box and I received 2 items that I really wanted.  I would have liked an Embryolisse product, but no matter as I am going to use the Birchbox points that I have saved up from reviewing products on their site to buy it with.  The theme of this months box is Global Strikers (yeah! world cup reference) top beauty players from around the globe.

Here's what I got:
BeautyBlender & BlenderCleanser Solid - this was the product I really really wanted to try as I have missed out on receiving this in a previous box.  I was delighted to receive it in my box and I can't wait to try it out. Worth £16 (not including the mini cleanser).
Caudalie Divine Oil - this is the other product I wanted to try and its a decent size sample. 15ml worth £5.40.
OPI Mini Nail Lacquer from the Brazilian Collection - I received the shade Where did Suzi's Man-Go (love the name) which is a pale orange shade perfect for summer. Worth £3.62 (based on 4 mini set costing £14.50)
Yves Rocher Sheer Botanical Lipstick (full size) - Shade 21 Litchi - I have never tried anything from this brand before and the lipstick is a very sheer pink wash of colour that feels quite moisturising as its infused with cherry oil (which you can smell and taste). This is more like a lip balm than a lipstick - worth £9.90.
Coola Classic Face SPF30 Cucumber -I go through tons of SPF so this is very welcome in my box.  I have never heard of this range so its always nice to try something new. 7ml worth £3.64
The Lifestyle Extra is a Brazil inspired keyring in the shape of a flip flop.
I think this is one of the best boxes I have ever received from Birchbox so I am super happy with it and I can't wait to try everything out.

What did you receive in your box?

If you want to subscribe, then if you use my referral link we will both receive 50 Birchbox points (worth £5).

  4. Hi Jodeelite
Birchbox is the only beauty box that I have stuck with (since it was called Boudoir Prive). I have only had a couple of disappointing boxes in all that time. This box was great value :)
